This breath taking scenic tour includes 2 hours at the iconic Cliffs of Moher, to explore, walk, photograph, relax and take in all this world famous site has to offer. Departing Galway, your local driver guide heads to the western coastline’s famous touring route-the Wild Atlantic Way, travelling past harbours, working farms, medieval ruins, 16th-century tower houses and stone churches. Our 1st stop is the medieval Dunguaire Castle, then onto the glacio-karst landscape of the Burren, passing the 12th century Cistercian Corcomroe Abbey. Following the Wild Atlantic way, we start to see the 3 Aran Islands. Onto Doolin pier for a photo stop and a chance to feel the wild Atlantic wind in your face. Then time for lunch at Doolin Hotel-try their delicious local sea food dishes! Arriving at the Cliffs of Moher, take a stroll along the summit of the Cliffs and witness the spectacular views of huge ocean and sky. We return to Galway via Lisdoonvarna, famous for its annual match making festival.

Your locally sourced and fully trained driver / guide will take you from Galway on a coastal drive along the Wild Atlantic Way, through the Burren and up to the Cliffs of Moher. En route, you will pass medieval castles, beautiful little villages, fields of dry stone walls and amazing coastal views. Your driver / guide will entertain you with insights into the geology, history and stories of the landscapes in view.
Your first stop of the day is Dunguaire Castle (The Fort of Guaire) on the approach to Kinvara. This medieval tower house castle is one of the most photographed in all of Ireland. You will have a 20 minute stop here to take some photos of the castle. From here you will follow the Wild Atlantic Way through Ballyvaughan past Blackhead and Fanore towards the picturesque village of Doolin.

5.00Best day trip I’ve ever experienced. Our driver/guide Jerry was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and was very entertaining throughout the day. The Cliffs of Moher are breathtaking and a must see during your trip to Ireland! I highly recommend this trip!!!

5.00We had a great day with Alan. The main objective was the Cliffs of Moher and traveling along the Wild Atlantic Way with castles and lots of scenery. So… the weather wasn’t ideal but Alan knew how to make the best of it! We made a surprise detour and stopped by the Hazel Mountain Chocolate Factory. This is an absolute must see. A personalized tour and tasting with all-natural ingredients. Incredible. The Cliffs of Moher were awe-inspiring. The weather was rough and so was the North Atlantic. Something to experience for sure!

5.00We had an excellent day on this tour. The bus was comfortable and the guide was wonderful. We made several spots and had an appropriate amount of time at each spot. Alan, our guide, was an excellent story teller and we appreciated his style of sharing Irish history and giving context while we drove around. Plenty of bathroom breaks, a wonderful spot for coffee/tea, and a nice lunch break made for a very comfortable trip.

5.00This tour was amazing. I saw and learned so much from our driver/tour guide, Anthony. He’s a really sweet guy who handled that giant bus on the narrow roads like a champ. The Cliffs of Moher themselves were breathtaking. The weather was between cloudy & rainy, but it was still beautiful. I can only imagine how much more amazing it would have been on a clear day.

5.00It was a wonderful trip! Very seamless getting to and from and finding the bus throughout. We got to stop and see a bunch of local places along the way, and our tour guide was so knowledgeable and funny! Phil is the best!!

5.00Absolutely wonderful tour of the Burren to the Cliffs of Moher. Sean was an excellent driver. We are not accustomed to narrow winding roads but felt comfortable with Sean. The guide Paddy was also excellent; giving us just the right amount of information about the history of the area and a quick course in the Irish language. I would give the tour a 5+.

5.00Our driver, Pavel, was great. He was informative and helpful - even told a few jokes. Throughout our trip, the weather was phenomenal, except for our tour day. We were unable to see the Cliffs of Moher due to a low mist but my family agreed that it wasn’t a wasted day - we saw lots of other sites.

4.00Great tour! Tour guide, Pavel, was so nice ; kept us on schedule. Loved the stop at the chocolate factory since we had extra time! Also appreciated the pub expecting us for lunch which made things go smoothly and kept us all together. The cliffs were beautiful! Truly worthy the trip! Glad we did bus tour, roads were very narrow at times
