Join us in cooking a full traditional Santorini menu & baking a local dessert!! Our local host and chef will guide you in preparing a typical 5 course local lunch using only fresh locally sourced products!!
And prepare and bake one of the most typical local desserts!!
The cooking classes take place in one of the oldest stone cave houses of Megalochori village, which has maintained all of its traditional character and features!!
Once the preparation and the cooking of the menu is completed, you will have the chance to enjoy your lunch at your leisure in our traditional dining room or outside under our magnificent bougainvillea tree!!
Local Santorini Assyrtiko wine is served throughout the preparation of our menu and of course during lunch!!

Join us in cooking a most traditional Santorini lunch menu as well as baking a local dessert!! During our cooking classes we will prepare all together - along with the guidance of our chef - a full traditional local Santorini Menu plus dessert!! At the end of the lesson you will be able to enjoy the lunch we have all cooked together in the traditional setting of the cave house or under our magnificent bougainvillea tree!! 5.00This was an absolutely HIGHLIGHT experience of my trip. Giorgio was a warm, friendly , and clearly EXPERT host, and I had an amazing 4 hours there. Delicious, personal, fascinating, don't miss this. HINT: Save room in your suitcase for some of the amazing items they have to take home; I am SO SORRY to have not purchased oil/ vinegar, and one of their wonderful aprons.

5.00Sassy, spunky, delicious! Chef was very hands on and will not let you ruin the dish if you're nervous about that! Very informative, open to questions, and you will have more food than you can possibly eat as well as practical dishes easy to replicate at home.

5.00The entrance to the house is beautiful with a gorgeous Bougainvillea cascading with pink flowers. We walked into a quaint area with a large table fro prepping our food. Eleanor was gracious and kind, getting us set up and the chef, Alexandra was warm and welcoming with a wonderful sense of humor. We made several old family recipes handed down to her from her grandmother. We got to do a little cooking in the kitchen with some of the original elements still intact. She explained everything in detail and made us feel right at home. We ate our delicious meal family style in the dining room and had some great conversation with the other participants. We had a wonderful time and I definitely recommend this place for an authentic cultural experience.

5.00One of the best parts of the trip! Alexandra and Eleanor were so pleasant and fun! Alexandra taught us so much about traditional Greek cooking and Eleanor kept our glasses full. The space was cozy and the food fresh.

Five of us did this activity with Alexandra as our chef - and she was as much an entertainer as a chef; just a phenomenal sense of humor. :D It was wonderful to learn about the traditions, climate, and culture of Santorini that influenced the dishes we made, and this was easily one of the best things we did on the entire trip. I think about the Tomato Croquettes (tomatokeftedes) almost daily since this class. Thanks for a great time!
