Five Art Studio, nestled in the cultural heart of Keliki, invites you to discover the rich tradition of Indonesian batik through our Batik Painting Class. This hands-on experience offers a deep dive into one of Indonesia’s most treasured art forms, where you'll learn the centuries-old techniques of wax-resist dyeing. Guided by skilled local artists, you’ll create your batik artwork, gaining insight into the cultural significance and history behind each design. This is a great way to spend a day, whether you’re an artist, or a beginner. enjoy learning how batik is made in this relaxed studio in Ubud, This is an experience everyone should try. Our team are passionate about our craft and eager to share our knowledge and talent. It is truly bring out the artist in you. Not only is it a truly memorable and inspiring experience – it’s convenient too.You’ll learn the traditional art form using colorful dyes and hot wax. We supply Includes all the materials you need to make your own original batik. The class is held in a casual but comfortable studio in the family home compound and is run by master artist. You can do everything stage of the process yourself under our guidance.

Great experience & a lot of fun! The whole team was very supportive and had a great vibe - you can bring your own ideas / motif or choose one of the many great suggestions they have. Managable even for someone who is not that talented with a pen or brush! They even brought our 'artworks' to our hotel the next day. Recommend it for anyone coming to Ubud.

We absolutely loved our experience with Kadek and Komang, they were fantastic with our kids (8yr and 12yr) - patient, encouraging and helpful guidance. We all Iove our creations and have a much deeper appreciation for the Batik craft.

This is an amazing workshop. So much fun. The teachers were fantastic, so knowledgeable and kind. Took us through every step. Thank you so much Kadek and Agung. Highly recommend. Will definitely do it again next time I’m in Bali.
