My husband and I recently had the absolute pleasure of touring Nova Scotia’s South Shore—Peggy’s Cove, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg—with Ziyan as our tutor guide, and it was hands-down one of the best experiences I’ve had while traveling. Peggy’s Cove – Iconic and Insightful We started the day at Peggy’s Cove, where the lighthouse, granite rocks, and crashing Atlantic waves were as breathtaking as expected—but what made it memorable was Ziyan’s narration. He shared stories about the fishing village, pointed out little details most visitors miss, and made sure we navigated the rocks safely. His warmth and deep knowledge made this well-known spot feel personal and fresh. Mahone Bay – A Postcard Drive On our way to Lunenburg, we passed through Mahone Bay, and even just driving through was a treat. Ziyan slowed the pace and gave us great commentary as we admired the colorful homes, waterfront charm, and the famous trio of churches lining the shore. His timing and route made even the drive feel like a highlight. Lunenburg – A Walk Through History Lunenburg was the final stop, and it’s where Ziyan’s depth as a guide really showed. He led us through the heart of Old Town, pointing out historic architecture, explaining the town’s maritime heritage, and sharing stories of the Bluenose II and local life. He had a natural way of making history interesting and approachable—not a lecture, just good conversation. Why Ziyan Was Exceptional • Genuine local insight – not just facts, but context and personal touches • Professional and personable – friendly, adaptable, and clearly passionate about his work • Easygoing flow – the day felt full but never rushed Highly Recommend If you’re planning to explore Nova Scotia’s coast, book Ziyan. He’s knowledgeable, thoughtful, and makes you feel like you’re discovering the region with a good friend. I’d absolutely tour again.

Ziyan, our tour guide today in Halifax is top notch! He arrived in a very clean SUV with water bottles for everyone. He gave interesting commentary and recommendations for local restaurants and points of interest. He was accommodating with time and drop off places and taylored the day to what we wanted to do. We started the day traveling to Lunenburg and worked our way back to Halifax. Lots of "fun facts" and history were explained and we greatly appreciated him. Thank you Ziyan, until we meet again.
