A Dhow Cruise Dinner in Dubai Marina is a great way to spend an evening and enjoy views of the ultra modern Dubai Marina area & canal from on-board a traditional Arabic wooden dhow.

The cruise starts at our Berthing Location in West Bay, Dubai Marina Yacht Club, continues through the entire Dubai Marina canal and out into the shore line of Jumeirah Beach residence (subject to weather conditions).

The boat itself features a bar, a live female singer onboard, a male tanura dancer and a full course buffet dinner.

    Food quite ordinary, service was poor. Wanted to order a drink, handed a menu listing alcoholic choices and ordered a gin and tonic. Waiter returned to say no gin available so changed to vodka tonic. He brought a glass with vodka and I asked for the tonic. He returned finally to tell me no tonic available. So disorganized ! Then when I was going to pay with a credit card he disappeared. I used the cash I was going to leave as a tip to finally pay Entertainment was only saving grace - the Turkish Dervish was superb.

    We were given advance notice that we would be on a different boat, but didn't make any difference to us. The whole experience was superb and the staff team were polite and attentive. It was our anniversary and the staff even served a celebratory cake and all said happy anniversary to us. This is a wonderful way to see the night skyline and the trip covers the entire marina, then out by the Palm airport strip and then Bluewater island with fantastic views of the Dubai Wheel. Great communication from their admin advising with WhatsApp messages about all you need to know.

    I think the most important thing to know is that in the summertime it’s hot. We picked the top deck because we wanted to be able to see everything but we didn’t realize how hot it was gonna be… The trip was still great but did I mention that it was hot. The staff was really great and the food was good, and the entertainment was interesting. It was a good way to spend a night out doing something different with the whole family. Did I mention that it was hot…
