A truly informative and enjoyable day the winery visits were spot on and mixed learning about the story of port wine and how it is made and also wine tasting The lunch was excellent and the short boat trip very relaxing It is quite a long day but worth it Phillip our guide was exceptional and a great guy and very knowledgeable whilst being a very capable driver You could not get a better day trip

I booked this experience for our family. From personal pickup at the hotel to pets drop off the whole day was well curated and thoughtful orchestrated. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and the day was full of activity but not rushed. Our family was really introduced to port on this trip to Portugal, and both wineries helped us understand the processes and history. We went from the bottom of the valley to the top, and learned the variations of the climate and effects on the grapes. Lunch was extremely delicious and simple with plenty of food and more wine. Highly recommend! My family loved this trip.

Entirely enjoyable. Our guide Alvaro was informative and engaging. The two producers we visited were charming, family-run, and high quality. The scenery in the Douro Valley is breathtaking.

This was a fabulous one day journey into the Douro Valley. We made two stops at a winery, had lunch and spent an hour on a cruise down the river. Our guide Paulo was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. A truly great way to spend the day!
