After pick-up from your hotel in Ella, head for Udawalawe Or Yala National Park, where you'll switch to an open concept safari jeep in order to have the best views. An early Morning or Afternoon start ensures you'll see the animals during one of their most active times of day Morning or Evening. See Leopards, herds of elephants for sure and have fun watching for crocodiles, monkeys, water buffaloes, various endemic birds species and much more. Along the way, you'll learn about and observe the natural habitats of the local wildlife while you snap some amazing photos.

In the Morning or Afternoon, 3-hour safari adventure, switch back to the comfortable, air-conditioned car for the ride on to Tangalle/Hiriketiya/Matara/Mirissa/Weligama/Unawatuna/Galle where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.

Udawalawe National Park

Udawalawe National Park is a national park on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces in Sri Lanka. The park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir. The reserve covers 30,821 hectares (119.00 sq mi) of land area and was established on 30 June 1972.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on our Yala Safari Tour with Ajith Safari Jeep Tours! It was an unforgettable experience where we managed to see all the relevant animals, including a sloth bear and a leopard! A special mention goes to our driver and guide, Dillan, who was excellent throughout the day. His expertise and driving made the trip truly special. Highly recommend!

Superb experience. We had an incredible day with our guide Madushan. Despite the weather not being perfect we saw basically every possible animal. Leopards, elephants, crocodiles, Jackals, all kinds of birds, mongooses, monkeys - and a lot more. The whole experience was amazing.

Easy pick up from Ella and transfer to down south. Dilan was a good driver. We saw lots of animals. He also kept pointing them out to us and gave us some information about them.

Great way to transfer to down south in Sri Lanka. Super value tour, can’t beat. Safari and Transfer It was good experience overall. Madushan was a great guide. He explained the name of the animals and was always focused on taking us to the best places to see the wildlife.
