Snowman World is the most exhilarating snowy playground of the Santa Claus Village, located on the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, where you can enjoy a day of thrilling winter activities.

We expect you to experience the spectacular snow and ice slides and a fun labyrinth not to mention the real ice-skating rink where even snowmen have been spotted showing off their skating skills.

While enjoying holiday activities, you can occasionally revitalise yourselves with the tasty servings of the Snow Restaurant and Ice Bar, while admiring some fine snow and ice sculptures.

Tickets to Snowman World are valid for a whole day. Snowman World is an outdoor destination, so don’t forget to dress up warmly!

Snowman World

At Snowman World, you spend a fun day outdoors with traditional winter activities ! Enjoy skating and sledging with the whole family and admire the skilfully made snow structures and snow labyrinth. If you like slides, then you’ll love the snowy and icy hills of Snowman World. The icy surfaces are certainly very slippery! A bigger hill gives you real speed that provides enough thrills for even the more extreme sliders. The smaller slides also are perfect for our youngest visitors. When the snow games are done for the day, you can throw your coolest moves to the snowy dance floor at Snowman World Ice Disco – open for the whole family! Our ice-skating track is a great place to try out your skills on ice. If you’re using ice skates for the first time, we’ll provide you with tuition to get you going, and give you all the equipment you need to help you learn the skill faster. You can borrow skates on-site, as ice skates are included in the price of the ticket.

I pre-books this online before I came to Lapland and I’m so glad I did, it was a amazing experience with loads to do, ice skating, toboggans, ice glass throwing, ice bar/disco, ice and snow sculptures.. staff were really friendly and we had a great time! If you’re thinking about going definitely do it!

We purchased this before our trip, as we were worried we would miss something really good, but please don't waste your money - totally over rated. There is nothing special here AT ALL, except Qs ! There is tubing which would be good, but no good when Q is over 1hr. There is a sign up saying 1 tube per go/user and then you pass tube to next people in Q, but no one mans it so people keep onto them. There is NOTHING worth the entrance fee charges. It sits in the park with lots other activities, so please don't bother! We ended up paying close to €200 for a family of 5 and ended up walking in, to end, and turning around and leaving again.

We had a great time at Snowman World. The slides were fun, ice skating was brilliant and the ice bar was a good touch for the adults. We arrived early and had several goes on the slides whilst it was quiet.

Way too busy. Needs to have some sort of restrictions to how many people can enter. The place looked good at first, but you will be queueing for 30 mins to go ice skating and the big slide was about 1.5 hours and the little slide was maybe 20-30 mins The snow art looked good. Would of been better if they gave people 2 hour time slots to make the place less busy

I was really disappointed with Snowman World. There are far too many people for such a small space. To slide down the hill with a tube, you have to wait in a very long line, and the ice-skating area is so tiny it’s almost a joke. The maze is clearly designed for toddlers, not for anyone older. For €35 per person, it’s absolutely not worth it. There’s very little to do, everything is overcrowded, and the queues are huge. It feels like a complete rip-off.

So much fun! Exceptional experience. Our 3 year old loved it! Place was crazy busy and we waited for an hour for the big slide. Would be good to split out the queues for pickup and return if skates. More size 28-30 was needed as they were out. The disco isn’t suitable for kids it’s a loud rave. We’d come back for it and it was so loud and only in the bar so that was bit annoying but we enjoyed the rest.

Expensive.. and overrated.. lack of information and organisation from staff.. €110 to play in the snow.. could have done that outside for free.. If you buy a shot in an ice glass at the ice bar make sure you keep it for a game outside..

The actual place was great, snow art was good, ice bar, the slides and the whole place was really well built, but there needs to be some restrictions on the amount of people it takes. Or at least give people a 2 hour time slot to make it less busy. Queueing up for 1.5 hours to go on a slide is ridiculous. It would be good if it wasn’t busy but the amount of people there I would say it’s not worth it

Not well organised at the entrance and didn’t give us pre booked drinks vouchers. The whole place gets very slippery after a couple of hours. The ice skating hut is way too small to cope with the amount of people and no organisation again. Apart from that it was a good couple of hours but not worth the money in my opinion.

The price is too high for what is included in the price. One bigger snowtube slide, that you had to queue for about 30 mins for a 20 second ride. A smaller snowtube slide (a lot smaller) and some really small ice slides. The snowart was cool and the snow maze, but the whole area is very small for the 35 euro price. The snowman disco didn't even have snowmen all the time it was open. No music, lights/projections or such outdoors to make it a bit more magical. The ice skating rink is really small. Would be nice if they had a normal "slope" for sledding. Nah, save your money I would say, not worth 35 euros.
