It covers a wide range of the history of Bath, particularly the architectural background of Bath, with many interesting, sometimes amusing anecdotes. Being a long lived resident himself with a special affinity with Bath, Paul gives his walking tour an extra bit of character.

Paul is very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Bath and led a thoroughly enjoyable tour. His humor added to our enjoyment. We learned a lot on the tour and saw beautiful sites we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. We highly recommend this tour!

Our walking tour of bath with Paul as our guide was fantastic. We learned about the history of Bath, its architecture and people. He would point out and talk about things that you would normally just walk by and completely miss! We were so glad we took this tour with him, and we highly recommend it!

We met our guide promptly but the assembly hall was closed so we only saw the pump room. We saw many of the other sites with pictorial aides. Mr. Elliot was in rush to complete our tour so he walked very quickly. It seemed that we were rushed from one site to the next with very little time for engagement by our guide.

He is very knowledgeable and mildly amusing. He will answer all your questions but he did make my wife feel like she had asked a stupid question and embarrassed her, so one star off. If you only ask “good questions” you should be fine.
