Join us for a hands-on fjord safari from Bergen, where we explore the stunning coastal nature and try traditional Norwegian fishing. Aboard our Norwegian-built Viknes 1030 boat, you’ll get close to local wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and life on the water. We’ll try our luck fishing, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and share stories about the area along the way. If we’re lucky, we might spot a sea eagle soaring above the fjord. As part of the experience, we serve a delicious homemade fish soup – and if the catch is good, we’ll add the fresh fish straight into the pot! This is a relaxed and personal trip, perfect for those who want to experience the fjords up close, learn about local traditions, and enjoy some real Norwegian flavors.

I so wish I could say this was fantastic however we did not get to experience it. Due to WiFi problems we ran late to finding the departure spot. When travelling in foreign places ensure you do pre mapping is my recommendation. I was so disappointed to miss the boat and it took me literally half the day to get over it. I did ask if another tour was on that day yet sadly no. I did try calling yet again tech became my demise.

Andreas was a terrific guide. Beautiful setting, good conversation, and I brought home delicious fish to cook for dinner!

It was a really nice experience :) I was there with my father and daughter. Andreas has shown us how to fish and we were lucky to catch one. The atmosphere on the boat was really nice! We were tasting fish soup, which was great. I'm sure that I'll book this trip once again :)

We had an incredible day with our captain Andrea. He picked us up in a very convenient spot near the Cruise Terminal/fish market as we went out we went right past our ship. The vessel was fantastic with a lot of cover if the weather isn’t cooperating, very comfortable and spotless. The sight seeing was beautiful, the fishing was great we got six. Saw an eagle catch a fish. Great conversation with the captain and the fish soup (chowder) his wife made on our way back was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend

I was lucky that no one had booked that slot, so I got to fish one-on-one with the guide. I caught three fish using slow jigging (a technique I hadn’t tried before). The guide was very attentive, and the conversation during the trip was really enjoyable. He even offered me a fish soup, which turned out to be the best meal I had during my trip to Norway. I really hope he shares the recipe on his website!

A little difficult entering boat from dock due to low tide, but the guides helped a lot and did a great job getting me inside and furnished a chair for me while fishing. The guides were extremely helpful in baiting hooks, removing caught fish and making me and the other guests comfortable. They were very professional and did a fantastic job!

Great adventure. Boys had a blast. Caught several fishes. Great host. Great boat. We moved around and despite bad weather had an excellent adventure. Highly recommended
