In Damnoen Saduak, you'll take a fun boat ride to explore the legendary floating market, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and discover unique products. You'll also visit a local coconut sugar farm to learn about the traditional process of making coconut sugar and see how salt farmers produce sea salt for cooking and skincare. At the "risky" market, we'll provide an insightful walking tour to witness the "Unseen Thailand" moments as sellers retract their stalls when the train approaches.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is one of the most attractive floating markets in Thailand. Worldwide tourists come here to experience this 38 kilometers, man-made canal initiated by the visionary King Rama IV 150 years ago. This canal was used as “road” when there was no road in Thailand. This floating market is currently the center of fruits and vegetable trading. At this floating market, you can try a number of delicious Thai fruits and foods such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut icecream, and Thai-style boat noodle. A motor boat ride is already included in your tour.
Coconut Sugar Farm
You will observe how Thai farmers produce coconut nectar and palm sugar loaf. You will see a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring the nectar into a bamboo container, putting preservation woods in the container, boiling up and pasteurizing the coconut nectar into the drinkable one. You will try squeezing coconut milk from coconut shell using a traditional Thai “rabbit-teeth” wooden machine.

Our tour guide Lin and Kevin were both very nice, friendly and knew their way around very well. During the car ride we would be informed and educated about the upcoming activity in a very fun and interesting way. Definitely recommend!

5.00We had the most amazing day with Lin and Kevin. They were fantastic guides! Friendly, knowledgeable and so well organised. They took us to the railway market, the original floating markets, and a local coconut farm, where we got to see firsthand how coconut water and coconut sugar are made, which was such a unique and interesting experience. Everything ran smoothly, the timing was perfect, and Lin and Kevin were great at explaining the history and culture behind each stop. They made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable while still being super informative. Highly recommend this tour and especially Lin and Kevin if you’re looking for an authentic and memorable experience in Thailand!

Our guide Lin made the day unforgettable. She’s so knowledgeable about the history and culture, but also really funny and personable, which kept everyone engaged. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and loves what she does. It felt like traveling with a friend who just happens to know everything! She completely lived up to our expectations. 5.00To be done at least once during the stay. We thank our guide Jimmy who was good advice to us, in order to avoid the crowds as much as possible, choose the seats on the train, when to make the photos, made us taste some treats, etc. The driver meanwhile, picked us up and transported us with safety. I highly recommend this private tour, comfortable when you know the traffic jams in Bangkok, a real change of scenery.

5.00We had a great experience with our guide, Poppy during our first full day in Bangkok. We opted for the private tour for a more personable experience. She was kind, upbeat, enthusiastic and made the experience easy and so much fun. It was hot and crowded, but she navigated us like a pro ans captured so many memories of us. I would definitely book again!
