5.00OMG what a great experience! Our flight was cancelled a few times due to cloud cover however, we finally did it when the sun broke through. I have to say the whole crew at HeliServices were amazing from the ground team to the pilot. The views are stunning and to think in a few minutes you’re up in the snow. An absolute must if your in Frans Josef. Thank you all for the best experience ever!

5.00That was INCREDIBLE! Dion was an awesome pilot and the experience was jaw dropping! My only regret is a didn’t book a longer one! I went for 30mins but I could have gone all day!

5.00Fantastic experience the glacier is amazing and being able to land and get out really was the icing on the cake. Thanks to them for making it such a memorable experience and for helping us create wonderful memories. Great staff and impressive health and safety too.

5.00It was great experience, we weren’t too sure about it but it was amazing, the stuff was super nice and the views and the helicopter experience was fantastic! For us the 20 min one was just right. I would clearly recommend it

5.00I took my young son on this flight, and it was perfect for us. A 5 minute helicopter flight over Franz Josef glacier to a snow landing whilst observing the glacier. Snowballs were thrown and a small snow man built before flying back down the glacier. Amazing experience.

5.00AWESOME is the one word I'd use to describe the flight. So many breathtaking photos and videos. Mind blowing vista. Best tour we took on the entire trip. Highly recommend.

5.00From start to finish this experience was incredible! We went into the store and spoke to Dee who was lovely and so informative. She was able to book us onto a tour the following morning and answer all of our questions. We were then lucky enough to have her husband, Ken, as our pilot the next day! He was amazing and took some great photos of us too. Would definitely recommend!

5.00This was an experience of a lifetime. All staff are highly professional and we received plenty of information about the glacier during the ride. Landing on the glacier was surreal and we were allowed a good amount of time to wander about. We booked the 9am flight and were lucky to have a perfectly still, cloudless day.

5.00When planning our South Island itinerary, a flight and snow landing on these magnificent glaciers was high on our list. The cloud cover was constantly changing and having had an earlier flight (with another operator) reduced to a flyover and the snow landing cancelled, we walked into the office of HeliServicesNZ to see if they could take us up and land on the glacier. Within 30 minutes we were in the air with an incredibly generous and experienced pilot who pointed out areas of interest and navigated the mountains and the changing clouds with ease. The sun was shining at the top of the glacier and the snow landing was epic. My brother-in-law had never seen snow before and with age and health issues, this was a bucket-list moment. Our pilot took great care that he was safe on the ice, provided excellent commentary on the flight, and afterwards back on the ground, as well as taking lots of photos of the two of us. He seemed to love being up there as much as we did. This was our holiday highlight and we are still talking about the generosity of our pilot with his time and care. We can't thank you enough for this experience of a lifetime.
