• Well-Organized Tour with an Outstanding Guide

  We had an excellent experience on this trip. Our tour guide Ibrahim Fouda did a fantastic job – he was very professional, knowledgeable, and well organized throughout the entire excursion. Everything was clearly explained, and we felt well taken care of at all times. We were very satisfied with the overall organization and service provided by FTS Travels. Based on this positive experience, we will definitely book with FTS again in the future and can highly recommend them.

  The trip itself was very nice, and I am giving one star less only because of the transportation. The tour started at 1:40 a.m. After about 20 minutes, we stopped to form a convoy with vehicles from multiple travel agencies (around 25 buses, vans, and cars). This process took approximately 1.5 hours, and we finally departed at 3:30 a.m. One of the guides explained that vehicles are required to travel in a convoy for security reasons and that departure depends on police approval. Unfortunately, the van was quite uncomfortable. We arrived at the Grand Museum at 9:15 a.m. Aside from the transportation issues, the tour itself was excellent, and we really liked the tour guide. The return journey was smooth, and we arrived back at the hotel at 10:30 p.m. I noticed that some travelers complain about high prices at the restaurants during the stops. While prices may be slightly higher, there are very few places to stop during the 5–6 hour drive, and it seems that convoys are only allowed to stop at designated locations.

  The new Egyptian museum was the highlight of the tour. Our guide Hamdeen was kind in itself, but the extra stop at the perfumery to drain the money out of your pocket as well as the penetrating and intrusive rush to give “a 5 star” rating with proof... is very questionable for me.. and makes you doubt all the reviews. Unfortunately there was a lot of crowding.. which gave the whole thing a rather stressful touch. Would rather not. And maybe look for a more private provider.

  Hany was a great guide.He showed us a lot and explained. The food was sensational.Driver great. The complete excursion was logistically super planned. From transfer, to flight, sightseeing and lunch. Unqualified recommendation. Thank you very much.

  We went from Hurghada by bus. 7, 8 hours drive to Cairo then to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Afterwards, straight into the Papierus business. The food in the restaurant was quite ok, there was a choice of 2.3 dishes. Drinks are extra to pay in the restaurant. The journey to Pyramids and Sphynx was exciting.

  Trip by minivan, with drivers who spoke neither English nor Italian, but all in all they were courteous and helpful. Arrived in Cairo we were expecting our guide, an Egyptologist who spoke perfect Italian, our group was made up of 6 Italians, we often asked him questions, but no answers followed. We visited the ancient museum, a very short visit, perhaps we waited more for the opening than the time to visit an area chosen by our guide. Lunch in a restaurant not far from the pyramids. Early afternoon we arrived at the expanse of Giza, of course you are always enchanted, here we were offered a tour on a dune in a buggy from where you could look at the entire valley or the entrance to a pyramid, no one in the group accepted, and from here we say that our "guide" was a "bit bad" and treated us to the limits of education. I do not question the professionalism and knowledge of our "professor" but the education that should be the basis in this work, it takes charisma and not prosopopea and arrogance. We will definitely return, hoping to be luckier to be followed by a more empathetic Egyptologist.
