Visit the famous Egyptian Museum with its countless exhibits steeped in history.
Marvel at the last existing wonder of the world - a fabulous experience! There are three pyramids here: the Chephren, the Cheops and the Mykerinos pyramids. You can explore the area on foot, on horseback or on a camel. Duration between 2 and 3 hours.
Enjoy a boat trip on the Nile. (for a fee)
After visiting the pyramids of Giza, we go to the Great Sphinx, by far the largest and surviving sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion's body. The sphinx was carved from the remains of a limestone hill that served as a quarry for the Cheops pyramid.

4.00It's a very long journey in a minibus. On the way to Cairo we stopped for 1 and a half hours in a type of queue but had no explanation as to why (could be to do with security but don't know for sure). Once we arrived we had a wonderful Egyptian guide who accompanied us around all the sights and it was fantastic.

Quite disappointed - a number of issues soured the experience

2.00I booked this Cairo excursion based on its strong TripAdvisor rating and the description of a small group, professionally guided experience. Unfortunately, the reality fell well below expectations and raised some serious concerns. The most troubling issue occurred on the return journey, when two random local individuals were allowed onto our coach without any consultation or explanation. One of them travelled all the way back to Hurghada with us. Passengers were sleeping on a long overnight journey, and this created a genuine safety concern. This is completely inappropriate for a paid tour and directly contradicts the idea of a controlled “small group” experience. We were also charged €10 per person for transfers despite the listing clearly stating that pick-up in Sahl Hasheesh is included and that only certain other areas require an additional charge. We were staying in Sahl Hasheesh. The operator refused to acknowledge this discrepancy when raised. The guided element of the tour was very limited. The guide did not accompany us into the Tutankhamun room at the Grand Egyptian Museum, nor at the Sphinx or the pyramids. We were given brief explanations and then told to explore independently as “free time,” while other tour groups clearly had guides with them. This significantly reduced the value of the experience. At the museum security checkpoint, a guard took my phone for no reason and attempted to force me to unlock it and pressured me to provide my passport and pin number for copying. This was intrusive and distressing, and there was no meaningful support from the tour staff during the incident. A large part of the itinerary felt focused on papyrus and perfume sales stops rather than a cultural or educational experience. In addition, our vehicle was delayed by around 1–2 hours waiting to form part of a convoy, extending an already very long day. While the drivers and guide were personally friendly, the overall organisation, safety standards, and service delivery were not consistent with what is advertised or what I would expect from a highly rated tour. When I later raised these issues directly with the tour company (as they requested), the responses became aggressive, dismissive, and highly unprofessional rather than focused on resolving the concerns. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this tour.

5.00We had a wonderful experience on our Cairo tour, visiting the Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). The itinerary was well planned, giving us enough time to fully enjoy both iconic sites without feeling rushed. The highlight of the tour was our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history and explained everything about the pyramids and the museum in a very clear and engaging way. He was friendly, patient, and always attentive to our needs, making sure we were comfortable and had time to ask questions. His passion and professionalism truly made the tour special. Thanks to our guide, visiting the pyramids and the GEM became an unforgettable and meaningful experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairo.
