What you'll need:
Good shoes for walking! (Don't worry about the distance, we won't walk too far and as it's a private tour we'll go at your pace)
Some cash (pesos or USD) for any cafe or lunch stops, and a credit/debit card just in case you need more money for anything during the day
For most of the year you should consider sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat etc
If rain looks possible, dress appropriately and ask your hotel to borrow an umbrella (or if not possible, ask your guide directly by calling in advance, regarding bringing spare umbrellas)
Consider bringing a camera or cell phone to take photos, don't worry about safety as long as you can store it as you walk and remain aware of your belongings

The cost of any public transport needed during your tour (e.g. local bus or subway)
Any transport needed to get to the start of the walking tour from there (usually by taxi/s with your guide, or private hired transport, but sometimes either on foot or by public transport if that makes more sense for your tour). This travel time is in addition to your tour time.

Any food or drink that you decide to consume during the tour (i.e. during the cafe / lunch break)
Any taxis that you decide to take during or after the tour (unless, in the latter case, you have paid for the "transport back" service)
The cost of any entrance fees during the tour (i.e. to enter a museum or other ticketed attraction). This is not a common occurrence for our tours, but if needed, such fees in Buenos Aires are usually low
Pick-up or drop-off at EZE or AEP airports (although these can sometimes be arranged in coordination with your tour, if there is availability, at extra cost)
Gratuities (which are voluntary and completely up to you)

San Telmo
Back in the day, San Telmo was home to the city’s richest and most important families. But yellow fever epidemics forced them to move north/west to the then outskirts of the city (now Recoleta & Retiro) and San Telmo began to fall from grace. Artists & the working class soon moved into the vacated properties, converting the barrio into what it is now known for: a bohemian hive for antiques, tango, cafes, bars, & restaurants, as well as the must-visit San Telmo Street Market every Sunday.
Plaza de Mayo
The historical, political, cultural, religious and economic hub of Argentina. Military coups, massive protests, financial crises, independence heroes, Peron, Evita, Maradona, the Pope and more... Plaza de Mayo hides story after story and cannot be fully appreciated without a knowledgeable guide. Near here we will have a relaxed break at a cafe of historical and/or cultural value, a great place to take stock and ask your guide all of your burning questions about BA!

5.00Tracy led us on a great walking tour. Her insights into the history of Argentina made the sights more meaningful. The cemetery was amazing and we were able to see several different areas in Buenos Aires that we never would have discovered on our own. It was a lot of walking, which we expected, but tiring nonetheless. I would recommend this small group tour to anyone visiting BA.
Don’t skip this tour! Critical for English speakers wanting to learn and feel comfortable in Buenos Aires!

Tracy was knowledgeable, engaging and (since I was the only attendee that day), able to pivot the itinerary — based on where I have been before — to ensure I got to experience the most from the city. It also left me feeling more confident to go about the city (and public transit) on my own. I am now foisting all of my knowledge, pictures, and excitement upon my friends and family. He customized the route according to our interests and offered a plethora of historical and cultural information at each site. 4.00There was a lot of dead space when we were on the tour. The guide was pleasant but seemed to be a bit preoccupied. We made adjustments to the schedule and he was comfortable with our doing so.

5.00I am disappointed. Disappointed that I can only leave 5* for our 10* tour. Tracy was amazing. She is knowledge on all things Buenos Aires. I believe we covered all the important areas in the city. We never felt hurried or rushed. It was wonderful snaking our way across the city. Tracy even indulged my request to stray from her tour schedule to go handbag shopping at Casa Lopez. Communication with Tracy prior to our tour was impeccable. She was punctual picking us up from our AirBnb. I truly believe we started the day as clients and ended as family. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. I can guarantee that you will have a fantastic time.

5.00I do not have enough words to express how extremely happy we are with our walking tour. Tracy was such an excellent guide. Honestly, it felt more like we were exploring a city with a knowledgeable and charismatic friend than simply being led around by a tour guide. We saw so many amazing things and learned so much about Buenos Aires. We ate delicious pizza and got tons of recommendations on how to spend the rest of our days. Booking this tour was easy. Everyone we worked with was super helpful and responsive. Tracy was flexible and intuitive and and was open to entertaining all of our questions, from tango to history to ice cream to pilates to etiquette (when you’re together for 7+ hours the conversation can have a pretty wide range). We would be delighted to work with Tracy again!
