The end of March to the end of June is a crucial time in all the floating villages in Siem Reap, as the water levels start to recede and present a unique opportunity for tourists to experience a new perspective. Although the picturesque landscape of the floating community may lose some of its charm during this time, visitors have a chance to immerse themselves in the daily life of the villagers living in the dried season. While some boats may become stuck, and smaller canoes are unable to traverse the jungle forest, these challenges add to the thrill of the experience. The dry season in floating village of Kompong Phluk may not be the ideal time to visit for those seeking postcard-perfect photos, but it offers a chance to witness a facet of the village’s daily life that is not typically seen. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. We recommend visitors to embrace this rare chance to witness a different facet of this incredible destination and truly get a different taste of life in the village.

The tour was amazing ! Our tour guide Mr Try Dara our driver Mr Sophal were great! Everything was well planned and the day went smoothly. The Khulen mountain is so beautiful and the vegetarian lunch by the waterfall was amazing. The Tonle Sap boat tour was very interesting to see the floating village. I really recommend this tour if you want to have a great day in the nature surrounding Siem Reap with a great guide 😊

Fabulous tour. Covered so much…palm cake making, had a lovely picnic at the waterfall. Fabulous views at the cliffs and Mony took lots of great shots for us. Then stilt village and temple on afternoon. The driver was great providing us with cold water and towels. I would definitely recommend…it’s a long day and a long way but so worth it

I had tried to book this tour a couple of times but never reached the minimum number of participants as it was during the low season. I was in touch with Mr Raksa the entire time who was very patient and suggested a similar alternative tour. In the end it ended up being pretty much the same thing as the other tour I had booked with one minor difference. I skipped the Beng Mealea temple because the day before I had a full day tour in the Siem Reap temples. As for the rest, we followed the itinerary and had enough time at each stop without ever feeling rushed. The guide was very enthusiastic and smiling all the time. He told us several interesting and cool facts about Cambodia. The palm cake free tasting and the fresh coconut juice were a nice bonus. We had a lovely picnic at the waterfall with simple but tasty food. The driver was professional and skilled. The boat tour in the floating village and sunset on the lake were a nice finishing touch. Pick up and drop off were both on time. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this tour. They were kind and professional and always in a good mood. If I ever return to Siem Reap I will definitely consider booking other tours with this agency.

To standout in the competition of many travel operators whom offer similar itinerary and services, good customer service and professionalism make the differences. Our tour guide Mr. Sean is the example of such. He is not only knowledgeable of the subject matters relating to Cambodia, he is also familiar with the neighboring countries that impacting Cambodia history. His narrations are informative and relatable. He was quick to understand and to cater to our needs and preferences. He also demonstrated good work ethic to tactfully decline our offer of sharing the picnic food which we could not finish. In conclusion, it was more than a travel experience and a pleasantly memorable journey. Thank you.
