After collecting you form your hotel or residence in Johannesburg between 06:00 – 06:30, we travel to the Pilanesberg Nature Park
We should arrive at Pilanesberg Park around 9am where we will then board and start our 1st open vehicle safari drive ( +- 3 hours) in search of the Animals that inhabit the National Park We will then have a short stop from 12 pm until 1 pm for lunch at Pilanebserg Center inside the middle of the park overlooking a beautiful waterhole . After Lunch we will depart on our 2nd Open Safari Drive (+-2 hours) we depart the park around 15h30 arriving back in Johannesburg between 17h30 to 18h00

Pilanesberg National Park
Visit Pilanesberg Game Reserve from Johannesburg for a full-day safari. The tour includes return transportation to the park and two 2.5-hour game drives with a highly qualified ranger in an open vehicle. On arrival your guide will take you on an exciting morning open 4x4 safari vehicle safari drive in search of the Animals that inhabit the National Park. Our guides are knowledgeable and will give you in depth information on the animal you are viewing and try their out-most to find the members of the Big 5.During the heat of the day you will enjoy lunch at one of the many rest camps in the National Park before departing on an afternoon open vehicle safari drive. Our vehicles depart the National Park between 15:30 – 16:00 in order to arrive back in Johannesburg before sunset.

Roughly 45 minutes' drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, surrounded by the beautiful Magaliesberg mountain range, Hartbeespoort Dam, or Harties to locals, has become a hive of activity and is a very popular weekend getaway for the two cities.

5.00Nice open vehicle safari. Our driver and guide Petrus was awesome in making each and every moment counts. We were very lucky to spot most of the big 5 animals and that within a near range and spectacular animal crossings. The hotel door pickup and ride to Pilansberg might be tiring, do prep well if needed for the long ride from central Johannesburg. Washroom stops and water is provided by the tour operator along with lunch menu including drinks.

5.00I had an awesome experience on this tour. First off they communicate well with you, “Arnaud” the driver was right on time for early morning pickup, and “Petrus Mosehla” the tour guide on the Game Drive was the best of all. Thanks to his quick response on the radio, added to his good driving we got see lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and many more animals up close.

4.00Our Pilanesberg National Park Safari started strong – in the first half of the day we were lucky enough to see lions, hippopotamus, elephants, several rhinoceros, impala, wildebeest, giraffes, zebra, and waterbuck. It was an incredible variety of wildlife in just a few hours. However, the second half of the day felt a bit repetitive. It would have been nice to have a different activity or route to keep things engaging after such an exciting morning. Our guide was knowledgeable, but he still has room to grow in keeping guests engaged, as much of his time was spent talking on the radio. On the other hand, the driver who fetched and dropped us off was excellent – professional, friendly, and made the long journey (about 2 hours 45 minutes each way) comfortable. Overall, it’s a great safari for spotting animals, but with a little variety and more guest interaction, it could be even better.
If cats are I must then I don’t know

3.00Didn’t get to see and Cats or buffalo but got a show from the elephants, hippos were out and about a few rhinos marking their territory but really good experience
