On our way to Soweto we pass by the National Football Stadium, which hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the World Cup 2010. We enter the Diepkloof area, where we will take a walk past vendors selling just about anything.
We set off to the heart of Soweto, driving past Baragwanath Hospital, an enormous taxi rank and the historic suburb of Diepkloof.

5.00I highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Mdu was thoughtful, considered and informed as well as being a genuinely kind and friendly person. He was able to answer all of our questions and showed us a side of Soweto we didn't know existed. He gauged our interest and made sure to focus on those things, as well as bringing our attention to things we would have overlooked so we could see the complexity, history and potential in this amazing part of Johannesburg. I am really grateful for his expertise and considered guidance.
