On our way to Soweto we pass by the National Football Stadium, which hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the World Cup 2010. We enter the Diepkloof area, where we will take a walk past vendors selling just about anything.
We set off to the heart of Soweto, driving past Baragwanath Hospital, an enormous taxi rank and the historic suburb of Diepkloof.

5.00I had a fantastic Half-Day Tour of Soweto with Tshepo. It ended up being a private tour, which made the experience even more special and personal. Tshepo was absolutely lovely — warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Soweto and its history. He made me feel very comfortable, answered all my questions, and tailored the tour to my interests. I really enjoyed every part of the experience and would highly recommend Tshepo to anyone wanting an insightful and memorable visit to Soweto.

5.00Our half day Soweto tour was excellent, it was quite emotional at times but so worthwhile. Our tour guide Khutso was absolutely brilliant, he obviously loves his job, he was so knowledgeable about so many aspects of life in Soweto both past and present. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Johannesburg.
