Get away from the crowds and join Exclusive Escapes, where we specialize in small-group experiences rooted in the culture and natural heritage of Grand Turk.
Board our vessel and cruise to Gibbs Cay, an uninhabited island known for its shallow turquoise waters and resident stingrays. Along the way, guests witness a meaningful cultural practice as the captain anchors and free dives for live conch using breath-hold technique only, without tanks or mechanical assistance—an expression of skill, tradition, and deep respect for the sea.
At Gibbs Cay, the captain conducts a cultural conch demonstration, carefully extracting the conch from its shell and sharing its significance in island life. Guests then enjoy a fresh conch delicacy tasting, along with water and a local rum punch tasting.
Guests also spend time in the shallow waters observing stingrays in their natural environment, moving freely along the sandy bottom, with an emphasis on presence and respect for wildlife.

Gibbs Cay
Join us as we cruise the crystal blue waters of Grand Turk for a 20-25 minute boat ride to Gibbs Cay. Gibbs Cay is an uninhabited island with white powdery sand and offers you and your guests the deserted island feel you often dream of experiencing when vacationing. On the way to Gibbs Cay we stop to do a live conch dive. This is a unique experience to watch the captain as he dives for live conch. Upon arrival to Gibbs Cay, we are greeted by our resident sting rays. The water here is shallow — about 2 feet (6 meters) deep — and stingrays abound. Bob in the water with your knowledgeable guide to learn about the stingrays’ habitats, breeding patterns and life alongside humans. Gibbs Cay allows you and your guests to interact with natures professional gliders. Even small children and non-swimmers will feel safe throughout the experience. On Gibbs Cay the captain will do a conch demonstration and make you fresh conch salad (conch ceviche)

5.00This experience was over-the-top excellent. The boat was comfortable. The snorkeling was amazing. The Captain and his two maids were awesome. They interacted with all of the members of the trip had a good time, offered and gave us some great rum punch. Watching them go and get the conch shells from the bottom of the ocean was a good time and then seeing them make the fresh conch ceviche, and the flavor of it was absolutely amazing. The stingrays on the beach were very sociable. There was a lot of information given about stingrays kind of like a nice little class given on them. I would hardly recommend this excursion to anybody that wants to just have a great day snorkeling eating fresh con Savier, getting to pet stingrays and just a good relaxing fun day in grand Turks.

5.00It was an amazing family running this business! We had a lot of fun and definitely will do another tour with them! The boat ride was a little choppy getting there but what do you expect in the Atlantic Ocean!

5.00From the moment we stepped on the island, there was a free and fun atmosphere. We walked through the door and were greeted with smiles and hospitality. The check in process was easy and the receptionist was excellent. There was about a 20 minute waiting period beforehand, but this was no problem as they had delicious libations next door! My girlfriend and I enjoyed pina coladas and took in the beautiful beach front view. We first met Kendrick on our way to the boat, from the moment I shook his hand I knew this was about to be a once in a lifetime experience. We boarded the boat with about 25 other people and set off for our first part of the excursion, snorkeling. Captain JJ was so thorough and light hearted in his safety speech, as someone who is a trip leader for a rafting company I could see his experience shining. I knew we were in good hands. This was my first time ever swimming in the Caribbean or snorkeling and JJ gave me some pro tips that helped it click and really made the experience. We got back on board, and Kelly passed out cups for the island punch which was so refreshing after swimming around! Then Kendrick dove and retrieved 8 conch shells which Kelly and Kendrick prepared in a ceviche while we kicked it in Gibb's Cay with the stingrays. I thought it was the coolest thing that JJ knew the names of the stingrays based off of their behavior, and I learned so much about a creature I misunderstood before! If you're reading this and you're still deciding on how to spend your time in Grand Turk, this is your sign to BOOK THIS TRIP! Thank you so much for the best Turkey day in Grand Turk!

5.00Such a fun experience! The guides JJ and Kendrick were really fun and great at what they do. The boat ride, petting stingrays, watching Kendrick dive for the conch and then he made us homemade conch ceviche, so good! Thanks guys for a fun day! Gibbs Cay beach was also so beautiful!

5.00It’s a great excursion at Grand Turks port. We were stopped at one reef area for snorkeling, then headed to the Gibbs Cay for sting ray touching. On our way back we had a taste of conch ceviche. The sea water was warm enough for comfortable snorkeling but fishes might not as many as some other snorkel spots at other Caribbean islands. At Gibbs Cay there were surely lots of sting rays so you would never come but see nothing. The captain answered our questions patiently and made sure everyone got a chance to touch the creature. Rum was provided along with conch salad on our way back, but there was no non-alcohol fruit punch for kids.

5.00Highly recommend Exclusive Escapes' Gibbs Cay / Conch Dive excursion. Everyone who works for this group is incredibly friendly and helpful. The weather forecast for our original date wasn't good but Exclusive reached out before we arrived to reschedule. They were very communicative and responded quickly to all messages. Once we got there we started our excursion with a stop on the water to snorkel among the beautiful fish. Then we headed over to Gibbs Cay but stopped along the way to dive for conch. At Gibbs Cay we spent lots of time with the stingray who gathered as the boat staff cleaned and prepped the conch. The conch ceviche they served was so good. One of the best things we ate on the island. All told, we were on the water or at Gibbs Cay for about 4 hours. What a great day!

From the very beginning, Exclusive Escapes made us feel so warmly welcomed—it felt like home right away. Once on the boat, the captain and shipmates treated our family of four like their own. They encouraged our girls to engage, welcomed their curiosity, and even allowed them to assist while teaching them with such enthusiasm and pride for their beautiful country. That personal touch meant everything to us. We will absolutely be returning. 5.00This experience was absolutely amazing. I grew up on Grand Turk and they capture a sense of life in the water perfectly. I commend all those who work for Exclusive escapes as they are very accommodating, staff are very kind and knowledgeable about the water and will help you to the best of their ability. 10/10 experience, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone interested in the life of a Turks and Caicos Islander on the water.

5.00I have traveled the world, and this was one of my favorite excursions I have ever done. It was incredible to see the conch be harvested behind the boat on the tour and then eat it right there on the tour. The shells are beautiful. The stingrays were incredible as well. The staff was very friendly. I am planning to take my family back there next year!

5.00My family and I went on the snorkelling and stingray tour - we had the best experience!! The local guides were fabulous and truely made the experience. So glad we chose to do this tour as the group was much smaller than all others and so we each far more time to interact with the rays. I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting the island. 10/10!
