Thee are many places listed on this pass that say you get entry to that are already FREE. It is very fraudulent advertising and very unethical. We went to the National Museum of Ireland (they have this listed as 2 places), both are already FREE. We also went to the National Gallery, entry there was already FREE. We also went to the National Print Museum--FREE entry for anyone. Other places that are FREE that they list as entry being covered by their pass: Irish Museum of Modern Art; Chester Beatty; National Botanical Gardens. I contacted "Customer Service" about this, and looking at the transcript, three of four people passed me on to a fourth. He sympathized and agreed with my convictions, but said that there are no refunds whatsoever, even if this pass is inaccurate, false advertising, etc. We paid $136.98 per person and the only actual monetary value we received from it was as follows: Jameson Distillery tour (26 Euros=$27.07 USD); Dublin Castle (8 Euros=$8.33 USD); Christ Church Cathedral (11.50 Euros=$11.97 USD). That totals $47.37, nowhere near $136.98. The other three places would have cost us $0. The way I see it, we lost out on $89.61 per person (there were four of us). That totals almost $360 wasted. I strongly urge you to do the math before buying these passes. And do not expect any kind of customer service after you pay.

I have used GoCity in a number of other cities and it has been fabulous. For Dublin there is a large number of sites listed on the GoCity as if they are included. These attractions are actually free in Dublin so you are not actually as many attractions as it appears. I would suggest that you simply download the GoCity app and use it as a guide for places in Dublin but not actually use the pass. I definitely did not feel as though I got my value for money on this particular GoCity Pass. It would have been cheaper to pay directly to the particular venues.

It was very easy to use and we planned out a head of time what we wanted to see. After we had bought our passes they ran a special for two days with the hop on hop off bus, which I wish we knew about a head of time. The only thing I would say is I wish if you bought multiple days you wouldn't have to use them consecutively. We could have seen more things if we could have spaced things out a bit. Did go to two distilleries which was great.

Really hard to get value for money on this. We moved around pretty quickly but didn't use enough of the passes in 2 days. Better to pay as you go
