Guinness Storehouse
On this fun filled engaging tour you will visit the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction, a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and brings to life the heritage of this world famous dark stout beer. In the company of your local expert guide your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of Guinness while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin and listening to some great stories from your engaging and friendly guide. Your guide will commence your escorted tour at the ground floor Atrium to see the copy of the 9,000-year brewery lease signed by Guinness’ founder, Arthur Guinness, in 1759, and learn about the four ingredients of the iconic Irish stout: water, barley, hops and yeast. Other highlights waiting to be discovered include finding all about the Guinness brewing and barreling process through virtual exhibits, equipment displays and videos on the craft of the coopers — the original wooden barrel-makers. Then, you can continue on to the other floors where you can immerse yourself in the Guinness story through a host of interactive displays and multi-sensory experiences. Discover the key moments in Guinness’ history and advertising and before you leave you may like to visit the Guinness Store to buy some Guinness-branded memorabilia — the perfect souvenir of your visit.

The Jamestown tour was quaint. Carl, the Jameson tour guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The pre tour sample was a great surprise and the tasting of the three whiskeys was pure fun. We would highly recommend this tour WITHOUT the Guinness tour. We were also unaware that there was considerable walking between the two destinations with historical commentary along the way. In addition, our guide kept asking us historical questions about Ireland, which made it seem like we should have studied Irish history before the tour. When we finally got to Guinness, it looked like something you’d find in Las Vegas. It basically is a self guided tour, but we were required to stay with our group and listen to our non-Guinness guide. In addition, the guide should have read the room to understand how bored the entire group had become. If you want to tour a brewery, go somewhere else.

The tour at the Jameson Distillery and the Guinness Storehouse was fantastic. Our tour guide Sean, a true Irish Storyteller, made us feel welcome and captured our attention every step of the way. He shared multiple stories and walked us through local Dublin spots on our way between the Distillery and the Storehouse. I highly recommend doing this combined tour as one leads to the other. Things to keep in mind: eat before attending the Jameson tour because the whiskey tasting hits hard, be mindful of how much you buy at the Distillery because you'll have to carry it over a mile to the Guinness Storehouse and throughout the second tour. Be ready for a lot of walking and many levels at the Storehouse and big crowds. Guinness is the most visited place in Ireland and that is not an exaggeration.

Had such a great time in Dublin exploring both the Jameson Distillery and Guinness Storehouse. Learned the history behind two iconic Irish drinks. Definitely a must-do if you’re in Dublin!

We a great time which is saying a lot since our flight just landed and we were extremely tired. We did the Jameson and Guinness tour and our guide Paul couldn’t be friendlier or kinder. His information was fascinating and really gave us a better sense for not only the tour, but Dublin itself. I would definitely recommend this tour.
