Welcome to the Home of Guinness. Located in the heart of St. James’s Gate, the Guinness Storehouse was once the old fermentation plant of the brewery where today, you can experience the history, heart, and soul of Ireland’s most iconic beer. As you explore the space, find out what makes the brewing process so special, hear about the history of the brewery and check out the archive of award-winning Guinness advertisements on display. Your final stop is the Gravity Bar, where you can enjoy the perfectly poured, perfectly chilled pint of Guinness included in your ticket with panoramic views of Dublin city and beyond.

5.00Simply a lovely place. Changed a bit since last time I was there, but for the better. Nice shop with a lot to spend the money on. At the top we find the highlight, Gravity Bar. View over the whole city. The place one only has to visit if one is in Dublin.

5.00In vibrant and predominantly modern Dublin, the immersive experience in the old Guinness factory is a must-see. The route on different floors allows the visitor to learn about every stage of the production process. Videos, photographs, lights, sounds and colors make the various steps fun and usable for all kinds of observers, adults and children. Small tasting with explanation and finally beer or non-alcoholic complimentary on the top floor totally in glass that offers a beautiful view of the city. Even just the scenic stop is worth the ticket.
It is definately an "experience"!

4.00First of all, this is not just a brewery tour. It is a 7-floor experience featuring many movies and interactive displays. It seemed like it was a Disney-type tour. You have to book ahead of time if you want your likeness printed on the head of your Guinness or to learn how to pour a Guinness properly. It seems strange, but I would book the earliest tour possible and make sure to get to the gravity bar early. It is where everyone has a chance to taste a Guinness, but there is minimal seating, so find a spot by the window and enjoy the view!
