Our guide Samantha was delightful! Her sunny personality and enthusiasm were infectious! She made me wonder why I was always bored in History Class; it’s because SHE was not my teacher! I learned so much about Ireland’s rich history. Samantha explained details to us before we actually saw The Book of Kells and The Longroom, so that upon entering, we had some background, which gave it more meaning. Great tour!

Long lines to get in, even with a skip the line ticket. Tour is self guided after the welcome. Loved the entertainment on the second floor but that bar closed early. Long lines for everything else. Gravity bar was way too crowded. Never did get our “free” beer. But it’s not like you can’t get a Guinness anywhere else in Dublin!

Visiting the Guinness Store house was a cool experience. Some tips- this is a self guided tour, which normally is fine. However be prepared to be on a self guided tour with about 30 or more other groups making it very hard to navigate and see everything. The building itself is very beautiful, and the employees are such a treat to interact with. However, you can control other people and some guests do not regard your space. If you like Guinness, I'd still recommend however just have the expectation that it might be crowded and plan accordingly.

Expensive for a self guided tour. Crowded, not personal in any way. No easy exit from 7th floor. Too many shops, glorified store.

It is hectic in there but you can really see the passion and love they put into Guinness. The gravity bar offers a soft drink if you don’t like Guinness, and I personally don’t so it was nice to have that option while still enjoying the bar. The view from the Gravity Bar is gorgeous but the bar is always busy. Take your time and enjoy the tour!
