A nice LA overview tour - Check in early!

We are in town for the Rose Parade and had 1 day to soak up LA sights so we did the 5.5hr tour. It was a nice way to see alot of LA things and visit a few places. Our driver, Chellsee, was cool and entertaining. We got to Hollywood early to walk around and popped into the Visitors Center really just for bathrooms but they checked us in an hour early, which was a real benefit because we learned they board the bus by order of check in. So CHECK IN EARLY! We had 1st pick of the bus seats! We did this tour on New Years Eve so the few places we did stop to get off were pretty busy. Hard to say what it would be like regularly, but we didn't have a whole lot of time to do much besides wait for our food at the Farmers Market. Its been smoggy so we were thankful to see the Hollywood sign! I'd say this is a good tour if you want to see the classic LA things but don't have alot of time!

Our guide Jeff was funny and very knowledgeable on little trivial facts of sights/celebrities/pop culture. This tour seems long but with plenty of stops with free time at the pier/farmers’ market and the observatory it was really a perfect combination for checking out all the spots driving by and walking around. We all enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it to others.

Quick overview of LA and Hollywood. Wish the site mentioned that the Griffith Observatory was closed on Mondays. That was one of the main reasons we took the tour. Tour operator was friendly and knowledgeable.

Great way to see LA in half a day! Would recommend any traveller to give this tour a go. Our driver Geoff was great
