The Great Pyramid of Khufu
The Great Pyramid of Cheops, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the largest and most impressive of the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau. Standing at 146.6 meters (481 feet), it was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Built as a tomb for the Pharaoh Khufu, it is a testament to ancient Egyptian engineering and precision. The pyramid originally featured a smooth limestone casing, reflecting sunlight and giving it a brilliant appearance. Inside, it houses the King’s Chamber, containing a sarcophagus, and an intricate network of passages and chambers. 5.00My partner and I went on a Pyramids and Sphinx tour with only entry fees to the area, car, and guide included. The tour took around 4 hours in total since we didn’t choose to do any more activities. Our guide Mostafa was great and really friendly . He made sure we had an amazing time and explained the history and mystery surrounding the pyramids in great detail and was able to answer all our questions. They picked us up from our hotel and were happy to drop us at the Grand Egyptian Museum at the end of our tour. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to see the pyramids and learn about their history!

Our guide helped us navigate through the site and explained some of the history and facts that have been discovered about the building of the Pyramids and the excavations. It was very nice to have someone who knew where to go and could give us tips to make sure we got the most out of our visit.
