What To Expect

Pyramids of Giza

Pick Up from the Requested Location by your tour guide ( If the hotel is out of range driver will make the pick up) to start your Journey across Cairo heading to the Great Pyramids of Giza where you will enjoy The pyramid of King Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Then, the tour will continue by vising the Valley Temple of Khafre, where is located the reception of the royal body of Khafre. The Valley Temple was built for the process of mummification of King Khafre. Finally, you will have a close-up look of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a body of a lion and the head of King Khafre. (please note that entering the pyramids from inside requires a special ticket, the guide will be happy to assist).

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)

Khufu's pyramid is the only wonder of the ancient seven wonders still remains and standing today!! the highest building on earth for more than 3800 Years, the complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated yet, with your advanced Egyptologist you will be able to explore the entire area.(Please note that entering the great pyramid from inside requires special ticket, guide will be happy to assist)

Very nice trip. Good organized. A guide Sommer was so nice and shared with us a lot of information. No long waiting. A driver picked up us from hotel. Everything was great.

This was an average experience. We left the tour with not much new information which was disappointing because we felt there was so much to uncover like the mathematical precision, alignment with the stars, all that. Our tour took probably 3 hours and we spent about 1.5 hours at the pyramids. So kept wondering why we took the tour. After the tour we were taken to the only government approved papyrus shop and Egyptian oil shop which slightly ruined the tour for us as it was yet another tourist trap. Obviously post the trip we did our research to find this was not true. The tourist trap started with a camell ride $25pp to take a 5 min ride to go to the “best picture spot”. This was the biggest waste of money cus it added no value to the tour. And we were told we had too however it’s something we could’ve walked too. The pictures were good though so can’t complain all the way. But not worth even $10. After that we were directed to buy souvenirs which were over priced as usual. At this point we had spent an unplanned $95!!! All this before we even started the pyramid tour. The tour itself was less than an hour. Our guide was nice though so it’s a tour that could be better, however the tourist traps ruin it. You’re better off researching and going in on your own in our opinion after doing the tour.

Pyramids are majestic but it was too hot to handle the tour. No shade, Nowhere. Doma was a very nice guide, much appreciated his effort. Great pictures!!
Best Tour to see the Magnificent Pyramids.

Such an excellent and knowledgeable guide. This tour was definitely worth our time and we learned so much. One of the highlights of this trip and the tour guide was phenomenal taking pictures.
