weight limite is 90 kilos per passenger. Sometimes we have to lower this limit to 80 kilos depending on the wind condition. In this case Paragliding will be offered to the client as second option, or we can reschedule the client or even offer a refund

Clients must be able to run off the ramp with the pilot for about a few seconds

Clients have to wait at least for 1 hour at the ramp before they can request cancelation. Delays can happen due to the number of people waiting at the line up, or the window of time between take offs

Summer Time, New Years and Carnival are very busy seasons so delays can happen, which can make the waiting at the line up longer than 1 hour. Avoid booking for these times.

Hang Gliding in Rio de Janeiro take places in Pedra Bonita, a mountain located in São Conrado area, just 30 minutes from Copacabana. No previous experience is required, since the instructor takes control of the flight while you`ll be experiencing one of the greatest adventures of your life. Flights take from 07 to even 20 minutes, depending on the wind condition. For your safety, we work with the best pilots who are certified by the Brazilian Hang Gliding Association. Tour Program: Travelers shall meet the pilots at the meeting time and meeting point displayed on the voucher Then, they will be directed to the club to sign the terms and pay for insurance. Then, they will be driven to the top of the mountain, for about 15 minutes. Once there, the pilots will give safety instructions to the passengers . Once they are good to go, the passengers will line up and wait for their turn to take off. After take off, flights can take from 7 to 20 minutes in average according to the wind conditions. After landing on Pepino beach, the group will wait for our staff to transfer the photos and video files to a DVD or to their phones Once they are ready, passengers are free to leave .

We had the best experience of our lives!! With a friend we flew with pilot Zero, experienced and very friendly pilot. The experience was amazing, it was the first time for both of us and we had a great time. I totally recommend this agency and activity if you are looking for some thrills. As a bonus, the scenery was sublime, and the weather perfect (: Thank you again.

Amazing experience. Would definitely recommend it. Everything was fine and easy to find. The pilot take you up to the start point and after that you are ready to fly.
I would recommend this to anyone with the same dream as mine to hangglide in Rio. Super professional and felt safe.

The equipment used was in Good Condition My Hangliding instructor Nilton was experienced, made sure I was fully aware of my responsibilities as a co-pilot and made my birthday very special! I booked with a group of 5 people and the process to get our pilots was disorganized and caused a longer delay than expected but all in all I would definitely book with them again. 10/10 Experience!

Try once in your lifetime. Everyone enjoyed it no fear, although someone who was afraid of it when watching others, was nervous before started.

Unfortunately we had booked for the hang glider and when we arrived they told us that we could only do paragliding and it didn't just happen to us "so-called atmospheric pressure problem" while other groups were doing hang gliding with the same weight as mine for me it is false advertising because you are not reimbursed for the shot if you refuse. Luckily JEAN the pilot was top, no one super nice ..I had a great time in the air. The videos include in the pack you have to know that you are the one who holds the go pro so it is not necessarily nice takes....and that is why they offer you at the end their video go pro for BRL 300.

Very wind-dependent. Pilots were very thorough and extremely safety-conscious. They helped with explaining all the steps and getting you prepared to do this in a very professional manner. One video was not transferred properly. Even after a few days, Rick at Rioadventures responded promptly and the same day had arranged for the missing video to be available for download. Would highly recommend them.
