Halifax Public Gardens
With your local guide, enter the Oldest Victorian Gardens in Canada, through the main gates. Inside the Gardens your guide will explain the history and monuments found inside. Free time will also be provided to explore on your known.
Old Burying Ground
The Old Burying Ground is Halifax's oldest cemetery, founded in 1749. Your route will take you by the site featuring restored headstones, the only Crimean War memorial in North America and interesting tales of those laid to rest.

5.00Victor was a super knowledgeable and gracious host. I learned a lot about Halifax’s history and saw some wonderful sites. The day was gorgeous. Definitely recommend
A Race through the City/Waste of Money

2.00The description clearly states that we needed to be physically fitted enough to walk for this 2 1/2 hour guided tour. My husband and had taken two guided tours by foot earlier on our trip, and they were great. This tour, however, was a "race to get done." Our guide, Chris, took a 2 1/2 hour tour and made it 2 hours, uphill from the get go. There were stops for a minute or two. We asked him to slow down, and he did, a little. I don't understand why we went straight up. When we were coming back we through other streets which would of lessened the straight up. Also, it was hard to take pictures because Chris was off again. The tour started at 9:45 and we were done by 11:50. We walked all over Europe earlier this year, we can walk, but this was not a walk. This was a waste of money.
