5.00PeruHop bus was comfortable for the very long ride to Paracas and Huacachina. Our tour guide, Aymeth, communicated the itinerary and timelines very clearly. She was energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenery on the boat tour and Huacachina. The dune buggy ride was lots of fun. Sand boarding was a blast.

3.00Overall, this was a good trip but with some areas for improvement Both the boat trip and the sand boarding were great experiences which we enjoyed and would definitely recommend! They were really cool and fun, especially the desert activities. We felt the running of the day was let down by the fact that there were >80 people on the trip (2 coaches of 40). The guides (1 per coach) were very helpful and friendly, but it was impossible for them to organise everyone which meant delays and confusion at quite a few points. They should either make the group sizes smaller or hire more guides. This trip is not cheap so we expected smoother organisation. Both the boat trip and sand boarding were only 1hr 30mins, whereas it was advertised as 2 hours. In both cases, it took 30 minutes to get everyone onto the boats and sand buggies. Whilst food is not included on the trip, a lunch buffet was offered to us. We opted for this out of ease but would not recommend. It was very chaotic and the food was cold.
