Get the Best of Lima with us!

If you have only one day in Lima and want to make the most of it, this is your chance to get to see the highlights of the city!

We pick you up and head to Huaca Pucllana, a pyramid built in the year 200 b.c. by ancient Peruvians (panoramic), then we go to "The Park of Love" to take excellent photos with the monument "the kiss". After, we leave Miraflores to go to a non-touristy area, this is the fishers Village of Lima, where we visit a fish Market as we learn a bit more of the everyday life of Peruvians.

After Chorrillos, we go to The bohemian district of Barranco, to see the street art and the "Bridge of Sighs". For lunch we go to an indigenous market to try our famous and local ceviche!.

After lunch, we head to the Historic of Lima, to explore the mysterious catacombs below the San Francisco church and to have a meaningful Walking tour along with our guide. The visit to Main Square and San Martin Plaza are included on the program.

Klaudia was superb especially when describing the history of st Francis congregation. The variety of the tour showed many aspects of life in Lima which we found insightful. We were also impressed by the skill and aplomb of the driver of our transport over the nearly 7 hours of the trip. A great tour and a top quality team.

Enjoyed the tour. Our guide was Klaudia, whom I would rate as a 5. She was exceptionally knowledgeable, answered all question, provided client specific advise and had interpretive humor. She was the best part. Tour is dependent on weather, though being a desert, it almost never rains in Lima. We did have a heavy marine layer and strong ‘sea’ odor (bothered my spouse). Tour takes you through various districts. Our’s included lunch (great little fish place). A market (save room in you stomach for fruits), the main churches, and down town. Yet some how it isn’t great (thus only four stars). This group made accommodations to pick us up and then drop us off at our airport hotel, for an extra 15% fee, plus an hour and forty-five minutes. Enjoy!

My husband and I had a great tour experience with our tour guide, Klaudia and our driver, Eduardo. Klaudia was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions about histories and culture behind the tourist attractions we visited. She brought good energy and enthusiasm. Eduardo was on time for pick-up and very good at navigating through the traffic.

Our experience with Klaudia was incredible! She was very knowledgeable, kind, and took great pictures of us. The ceviche at the lunch restaurant was delicious.

This was the perfect tour to see the highlights of Lima. I only had 1 full day there and so glad I did this tour. My guide Klaudia was amazing and it turned out to be a private tour. She was super knowledgeable and did a great job. Tour included exploring some neighborhoods along the coast and downtown Lima to see the Catacombs and more near the city center. Hope to come back to Lima again in the future.

The absolute best tour of Lima’s various neighborhoods !!! This is the second time I’ve taken this tour and cannot say enough good things about it. Miraflores, Barranco, Chorillo, Centro. Central Market (Mercado), Fishermans Warf, Bohemian Barranco, Hostorical Center, Huaca Pucllana, Lunch. All amazing. DO NOT FORGET TO ASK FOR TOUR GUIDE ALEXANDER (Alex). He does Englis or Spanish (or both !!!). ALEX, Thamk you.

The tour covered lots of districts so you got an idea of the character of each. Market visits, for the fruit tasting & lunch, made me feel like a local. Great knowledge & enthusiasm from the tour guide Alex.

What a great day we had with Alex and a lovely group of people. We saw all Lima has to offer at a touristical level. We went fruit sampling at a market place. We saw the Pucllana ancient pyramid. What a surprice. No idea there is a pyramid in the middle of Lima. We saw el parque del amor. The Baranco district. The local fish market by the beach. Then we had a wonderful lunch in the down town area. We al agreed that as for tour lunches we never ate so well. Delicious. After we went to Plaza Mayor and the catacombs. Very impressive. Alex was a great guide. Very informative and answered all our questions with enthusiasm. Great day!!

We were visiting many nice and historical places. The food and the fruits were delicious. I felt the end a bit hasty, but we were slightly over the 7 hours. Our guide were well prepared. She gave us many information of the buildings, the history of the area, traditions, culture, etc. Note: In the San Francisco Museum making photo are generally prohibited, but worth the time.
