08:00 AM – Arrive in Dong Hoi Stop at the Sovaba Travel Office for a brief rest before visiting Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park
Paradise Cave
09:30 AM – Explore Paradise Cave Ride an electric buggy through lush jungle trails to Paradise Cave, the “Underground Royal Palace.” Explore vast chambers of glowing stalactites and stalagmites, where cool, quiet air creates a surreal, otherworldly atmosphere.
Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park
12:30 PM – Lunch in the National Park Enjoy a meal at a local restaurant, surrounded by pristine nature and scenic mountain views.
Phong Nha Caves
01:30 PM – Visit Phong Nha Cave Take a dragon boat along the emerald Son River, where limestone cliffs rise dramatically on both sides. Enter Phong Nha Cave, one of Vietnam’s most iconic natural wonders. Inside, marvel at its underground river, sparkling rock formations, and majestic chambers shaped like mythical creatures.

07:30 AM – Quang Tri Citadel Visit the ancient citadel, where the legendary 81-day battle of 1972 took place. Walk through its memorials as your guide shares powerful stories of courage and sacrifice.
Khe Sanh Combat Base
08:30 AM – Route 9 & Da Krong Valley Drive along part of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail, passing misty mountains and ethnic minority villages that showcase the wild beauty of Central Vietnam. 10:30 AM – Khe Sanh Combat Base Explore Ta Con Airfield, a former U.S. base featuring bunkers, trenches, and aircraft relics from the fierce 1968 Khe Sanh Campaign — one of the war’s most intense battles

Vinh Moc Tunnel
01:00 PM – Vinh Moc Tunnels Explore the Vinh Moc Tunnels, an underground village with living spaces, meeting halls, and maternity rooms — a testament to human resilience.
04:00 PM – Hien Luong Bridge & Ben Hai River Stop at the 17th Parallel, once dividing North and South Vietnam. Capture memorable photos at Hien Luong Bridge, the flag tower, and museum — all symbols of unity and reconciliation.
La Vang Church
06:00 PM – La Vang Holy Sanctuary Visit La Vang Church, Vietnam’s most sacred Catholic pilgrimage site, admired for its peaceful atmosphere and elegant architecture. Evening Return Options Relax on the ride back to Dong Hoi City (hotel, train station, or airport). Return to Hue City is available upon request.

5.00The best part was having someone accompany us and share stories along the way and Mr. Luat did this exceptionally well. I’ve never heard such touching and emotional stories about Vietnam’s history before. The two caves were stunning with their magnificent stalactites, the lunch was delicious, and the transportation was thoughtful and comfortable. Thank you for everything!

5.00The van was clean, cool, and very comfortable, and our driver was friendly and extremely professional. The caves were extraordinary, peaceful, majestic, and unlike anything we had seen before. Luat, our guide, shared stories and explanations that made the landscape come alive. His knowledge, kindness, and humor added so much value to the trip. The DMZ portion of the tour was emotional and eye-opening. Visiting these places with a guide who clearly respects the history made the experience even more meaningful. Lunch was excellent, with delicious local dishes full of flavor. Special thanks to Ha for her constant support, quick communication, and caring attitude. We felt looked after the entire time.
This was easily one of the most memorable tours we joined in Vietnam.

5.00Everything was organized with great care from start to finish. Our driver was incredibly polite, always on time, and made every journey comfortable and safe. The caves were absolutely stunning, enormous, cool, and full of breathtaking formations. Our guide, Hung, made the experience even better with his warm personality and his ability to explain both nature and history in a way that was easy to understand. The DMZ sites were powerful to visit and gave us a deeper appreciation for Vietnam’s resilience. Lunch on both days was delicious, with fresh ingredients and generous portions that felt like a real home-cooked meal. And a big thank-you to Thuý, whose thoughtful communication and genuine care made us feel supported throughout the entire trip. This tour is worth every moment.

5.00We booked from Hue and finished in Dong Hoi, very convenient. The van was comfortable, and our driver kept us safe for two full days. Our guide, Mr Luat, was one of the most impressive guides we’ve had in Vietnam, knowledgeable, respectful, and very engaging. Lunch each day was delicious, with many dishes to try and plenty of food. The caves were outstanding, especially Paradise Cave. Day 2 at the DMZ was emotional and educational. Thank you to Ha for checking on us nonstop and making sure everything went perfectly.

5.00We joined the tour from Quang Tri. The van was cool, clean, and spacious, perfect for long travel days. Hung made everything lively and educational. His knowledge of the caves and the war history made both days meaningful. Lunch both days was very tasty, especially the local pork dish and the fresh soup. 5.00The van was comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned, perfect for a long journey. Our guide Hung immediately made us feel welcome. He was warm, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. Day 1 was absolutely stunning. Paradise Cave is easily one of the most spectacular caves I’ve ever visited, and exploring Phong Nha Cave by boat in the afternoon felt peaceful and magical. Lunch was fresh, tasty, and well prepared, with plenty of dishes to share. Day 2 took us deep into Vietnam’s war history. Sites like Khe Sanh Combat Base and Vinh Moc Tunnels were incredibly powerful. Hung explained everything with respect and clarity. A special thank-you to Thuy, who handled all communication perfectly. We felt cared for before, during, and even after the tour.
