With a local wine expert, enjoy a tasting workshop, between the atmosphere of a wine bar and a course of oenology in the heart of Bordeaux, 2 steps away from the Grand Theatre. An introduction of basic notions such as : terroir, grape varieties, appellation. No knowledge is required to participate in this experience, our experts will adapt whether you are a beginner or an expert and you will learn while having fun on site! - Tasting will start with a first glass of white wine, allowing you to learn the key steps of the tasting with universal method reputed in the wine industry. - Finally, you will taste 2 fine wines, 1 from the left bank, the second from the right bank, one of which is a Bordeaux grand cru. This will allow you to better understand the major red wine regions in Bordeaux, the Médoc & Libournais. - Wines will be paired with fine local charcuterie & cheeses to enhance your cultural immersion, while learning basic knowledge about food & wine pairing. Our expert sommeliers are at your disposal to demystify the secrets of wine and answer all your questions. A travel through Bordeaux and its wines, no more hesitation on the choice of the bottles after this class!

5.00I learned a lot from this tasting experience. The tasting experience was in French, even though I thought I had put in the English filter. That being said the facilitator did try to include English and my translation app did the rest. I recommend, lovely wine and good information that I have used since I got home

5.00Had an absolutely wonderful day driving through the countryside, exploring Saint Emilion and learning about wine. Our guide was incredible and so knowledgeable! The lunch was absolutely sublime as we sat next to a vineyard and enjoyed the incredible rolling hills. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about wine, see the surrounding area of Bordeaux in a relaxing way, and just let somebody else take the reins. 10 out of 10 would do it again.

4.00Nice variety of wines. There was a nice sampling of cheeses and meets but we didn’t really pair all with the wines. Great interaction with the host and the attendees which was nice. Would be great if we could receive a glass of our favorite at the end! 😀🍷🧀🪤
