We will be meeting in front of Sirkeci Train Station. After sharing our tour itinerary, we will try several street foods on the way to the historic dervish venue. There will be a very short walk to the dervish show and before the performance we will give you brief information about the background of 800-year-old dervish performance, which is also marked under Unesco heritage and one of the must things to do in Turkey. The dervish show duration will be 1 hour.

Following the dervish performance, our private transfer will take us to a 140-year-old kebab restaurant and we will taste the wonderful Turkish Food. (Unlimited Dinner: you will try 5 different kebabs, meze (tapas), salads, drink). Dinner will be finalized with tea/special coffee and traditional dessert. Notes: Vegetarian, vegan or gluten free option is available, please send us a message after reservation. (10 types of Turkish style vegeterian mezes) The price is all inclusive. 5.00It was such an amazing evening! Zey (our guide) a fellow foodie, combined food and the cultural aspect of this experience beautifully. The dance of the dervish is definitely something to see once in your life. Mesmerizing. And the dinner afterwards was amazing! Imagine a table with delicious food and people from different countries and cultures all sharing a meal and just sharing the same humor. Loved it! Definitely worth it!

5.00This food tour was incredible! Our guide Şuşu was so knowledgeable and passionate about the food and history of Istanbul. We tried street food first, then we went to a bakery for traditional Turkish delights and visited an uplifting Sufi religious dance ceremony. We finished our evening with kebabs and other Turkish Favorites. Wonderful experience, it felt like dinner with friends!

5.00I loved everything about this experience. I instantly liked Sule, who was well informed and friendly. The Whirling Dervishes were a spiritual hour of peace and calm for me, and the dinner following the show was delicious and leisurely paced, which I loved. I actually discovered a new favorite Turkish food at this dinner, Kunefe!

5.00Extremely interesting tour with our amazing hostess Zeynep. Tried the “raw meat balls” from the soup nazi, some delicious Lokum (Turkish Delight), including the local delicacy made with buffalo milk. Then the whirling Dervishes, the symbolism, history and meaning was very interesting. Finishing with a traditional Turkish dinner for the whole group at a 133yr old family restaurant. Highly recommend.

5.00We attended the Turkish dinner and dervish experience on our first night in Istanbul and it was wonderful. It was a great introduction to the food and culture of this beautiful city. Our guide Sule was enthusiastic and welcoming. If everyone in Istanbul is as nice as Sule we will be coming back for sure.

5.00Guides were fantastic. Was a good time with the group. The dervish "experience" was out of this world. So glad we did this. Would love to do it again if the opportunity presents itself. The restaurant was excellent!

5.00After enjoying some street food we saw the dervishes which was an experience like no other. We went to a restaurant full of locals for a fantastic Turkish dinner - the plates just kept coming! Our guide and hostess Zeynep clearly loves her city and its history and is keen and passionate to share the story!
