Annapurna Base Camp 5 Days Trek from Kathmandu is the shortest possible trip to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m/13550 ft). For those unaware, Annapurna I (8091 m/26545 ft) is the tenth highest mountain in the world above sea level. The base camp falls inside Annapurna Sanctuary, a high glacial basin lying 40 km directly north of Pokhara. The package is tailored for thrill seeking adventurers with a very short span of time.
The tour begins with a pick up from your hotel/apartment in Kathmandu. Travelers then take a scenic flight (25 minutes) to Pokhara. After their arrival in Pokhara, the travelers will be driven to Simrung to commence their 5-Days Trek to Annapurna Base Camp.

Pokhara
The trip begins with an early morning pickup of travelers from their hotel in Kathmandu. The travelers will then be escorted to the Domestic Terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for their flight to Pokhara.
After the arrival of travelers at Pokhara Airport, they will be driven to Simrung to begin their trek. The 5-6 hours trek passes via Jhinu Danda and Chomrong before stopping at Sinuwa for a night halt.
Trek to Deurali (Max Altitude: 3230 m / 10597 ft)

On day two you will be taking a 6-7 hours hike from Sinuwa to Deurali via Himalaya, a small settlement with tea houses. Today you will be passing through a dense forest while exploring many waterfalls on the way. A Deurali Guest House will then be your halt for the night.
Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (Max Altitude: 4130 m / 13549 ft)

Annapurna Base Camp
On day three you will be arriving at your destination, the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). On your journey you will be passing through MBC valley, an experience like never before. The journey from Deurali to ABC takes you 5-6 hours. A Tea House at Annapurna Base Camp will be your halt for the night. The place is famous for its mesmerizing view of the Annapurna Mountain Range with an amazing view of the sunset towards west.
Trek to Sinuwa (Min Altitude: 2340 m / 7677 ft)

Overnight at a guest house in Sinuwa.
On day four, you will be witnessing a spectacular view of sunrise and a delicious breakfast in the early morning at Annapurna Base Camp. You will then be trekking down towards Sinuwa via Deurali, Himalaya, Dobhan and Bamboo. A guest house in Sinuwa will be your halt for the night.
Trek to Simrung and drive back to Pokhara (Min Altitude: 830 m / 2723 ft)
On day five, you will be hiking down towards Simrung (5-6 hours) via Jhinu Danda. Jhinu Danda is most famous for its natural hot spring bath. Here the travelers can enjoy their quality time during their return trip.
Pokhara
After a short break at Jhinu Danda, the travelers will take a short (2 hours) drive back to Pokhara. In the evening you will be celebrating the successful completion of your trip to Annapurna Base Camp. Here you will be also bidding a final farewell to your trekking crew.

5.00This is my second trek with Cordial Trek and it was equally as amazing as the first. I had Pratip as my guide again, and he has been very helpful in assisting me in any way possible throughout the whole journey. Nice that they paired me up with another person from my country to do this trek together which makes the journey more enjoyable. Logistics were very well taken care of, from airport transfer to flight bookings etc. No complains there. Once again will like to thank Pratip and Cordial Trek for this amazing experience to ABC. Looking forward to my next adventure with them.

5.00Thank you to my guide Anil Sherpa, who took care of this five-day camp climbing tour in Annapurna, and took care of me and other climbing partners along the way. Even though my walk is slower, even feeling nauseous on the way to throw up (symptoms of high mountain syndrome), I am still very careful I waited for me, and did not let me drop, so I feel very comfortable, looking forward to the next trip with Anil Sherpa! This five-day journey I felt very happy, physically and mentally very satisfied, once again thanks to Anil Sherpa guide, no little less careful.

5.00I just completed the 5-day ABC trek and had an amazing experience thanks to my guide, Smile, and my porter, Jeevan. From start to finish, they made the entire journey smooth, safe, and genuinely enjoyable. Smile handled everything with calm professionalism—setting the right pace, planning each day clearly, and always making sure I was comfortable. His knowledge of the route and the mountains made the trek feel effortless and inspiring. Jeevan was equally incredible. He was kind, reliable, and always one step ahead in making sure everything was taken care of, even on the tougher parts of the climb. His energy and dedication really helped carry the whole experience. If you’re planning the ABC trek or any trek in Nepal, I highly recommend going with Smile and Jeevan. They’re a fantastic team and made this trek one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

5.00The guide Raju was a very professional, responsible, friendly and funny guide. Thanks to him, I really enjoyed the 5 days trekking of ABC. He always made sure that I'm happy and healthy and offered to help me or lend his jacket when I was feeling tired or cold. Also, he always dances and sung to make me happy. We talked a lot during the trekking and I loved his positive energy. Even though the 5 days trekking was challenging, the weather was perfectly sunny and I got all the beautiful sceneries. Hope to climb Everest Basecamp with Raju next time!

5.00I did the 5D4N ABC trek and it was fantastic. Had the chance to see amazing landscapes and get to know better the Nepalese culture thanks to our guide Smile. Smile was the best part of the experience, fun, friendly, close to us and also taking care and ensuring our security.
