Kayak La Jolla and the 7 Caves! This 90 minute guided tour in La Jolla is a favorite of both locals and San Diego visitors. Explore beautiful sea cliffs and caves as you glide through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve filled with marine life. Paddle to Sunny Jim’s Cave, the Arch Cave, the Clams’ Cave and other sea caves for amazing close-ups of sandstone formations. Witness sea lions, garibaldi, leopard sharks, shovelnose guitarfish (rock on, man) and even the occasional dolphin on this sought-after La Jolla kayak tour. Ages 5 and up.

5.00Zach did an amazing job as our tour guide. He was an incredible guide with a wealth of knowledge and so many fun facts! While we weren’t able to kayak into the caves because of large and unpredictable waves and swells, but Zach made our experience lovely and worthwhile by teaching us about the wildlife, the names of the caves, and what we would see if we could see the ocean floor. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour, it was an awesome adventure!

5.00It can be a bit strenuous and you will get wet! But the views and learning about the area was amazing. Our guide Zack was very knowledgeable and kept it fun the whole time. Definitely worth going to, my wife and I had a blast!

5.00This was a great tour. We saw lots of wildlife and learned a lot from our well informed tour guide. I'm glad I went prepared to get wet (from waves and from getting out at the end of the tour) and had a case for my phone! You can buy cases at the shop where you sign in.

5.00This kayak tour was the highlight of our time in San Diego. We had a wonderful time on the cave kayak tour with our wonderful guides Zach and Magdalena. The swells were a little high, but our guides and the other staff at Bike and Kayak Tours expertly assisted us by holding and guiding our boats at launch and our return to the beach. Zach and Magdalena were funny, knowledgeable, attentive and incredibly strong! We felt safe and in good hands during the whole tour. Magdalena guided our two kayaks into the cave carefully and helped lead us out. Our time in the cave was magical, with baby sea lions swimming around our kayaks and others resting inside. I would highly recommend this tour to others and will book again when it is leopard shark season.

5.00It was an amazing experience! Sebastian and Magdalena were fantastic, super friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the marine life. They made the kayak tour so much fun, and we got to see beautiful views and wildlife along the way. Everything felt safe and well organized. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great outdoor adventure!

5.00Zach and Zach were phenomenal tour guides and took very good care of us. We were able to see a sea turtle, lots of fish, and seals along with learning all about La Jolla. This was the best kayaking experience of our lives, full of excitement and adventure. They even managed to get us safely in and out of one of the caves so we could enjoy the full sea cave experience.
Almost drown due to weather and didn't see any cave.
