Explore beautiful sea cliffs and caves as you glide through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve filled with marine life. Paddle to Sunny Jim’s Cave, the Arch Cave, the Clams’ Cave and other sea caves for amazing close-ups of sandstone formations. 5.00Great kayaking experience!! The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The weather (in January) was perfect!! We saw Leopard Sharks, schools of fish, a Guitar Fish/Shark, seals, birds, and a Sea Turtle!!! Water is super clear! You can easily see the ocean floor 20+ feet down.

3.00It was very nice to paddle with the kayak and the guides on the sea. However, neither caves were visited nor could you see sea lions etc, because we "only" drove out. The guides were funny and told a lot of information about the reserve. Nevertheless, not what was described in the display text.

1.00Very boring tour. Just 1km to the sea and back again. Unfortunately, I didn't drive through any caves. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth it.

5.00Zach did an amazing job as our tour guide. He was an incredible guide with a wealth of knowledge and so many fun facts! While we weren’t able to kayak into the caves because of large and unpredictable waves and swells, but Zach made our experience lovely and worthwhile by teaching us about the wildlife, the names of the caves, and what we would see if we could see the ocean floor. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour, it was an awesome adventure!

5.00It can be a bit strenuous and you will get wet! But the views and learning about the area was amazing. Our guide Zack was very knowledgeable and kept it fun the whole time. Definitely worth going to, my wife and I had a blast!

5.00This was a great tour. We saw lots of wildlife and learned a lot from our well informed tour guide. I'm glad I went prepared to get wet (from waves and from getting out at the end of the tour) and had a case for my phone! You can buy cases at the shop where you sign in.

5.00This kayak tour was the highlight of our time in San Diego. We had a wonderful time on the cave kayak tour with our wonderful guides Zach and Magdalena. The swells were a little high, but our guides and the other staff at Bike and Kayak Tours expertly assisted us by holding and guiding our boats at launch and our return to the beach. Zach and Magdalena were funny, knowledgeable, attentive and incredibly strong! We felt safe and in good hands during the whole tour. Magdalena guided our two kayaks into the cave carefully and helped lead us out. Our time in the cave was magical, with baby sea lions swimming around our kayaks and others resting inside. I would highly recommend this tour to others and will book again when it is leopard shark season.
