5.00I had a great day with Shogo on the tour of Kyoto. We started with Nijo Castle and was introduced to the life of the soon and funeral system in Japan. We next visited the Gion district and learned about the Geisha life. We walked through the Higashiyama District to Fushimi Shrine and did the halfway walk through the Tori gates. The gates continue to the top of the mountain but that was too much of a walk for me. It was a beautiful day and feel so lucky to have a guide that could share his culture and history with me. Thank you Shogo.

5.00We traveled on a cruise throughout Japan. We disembarked at Kobe, and took the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto and back. At first I thought it wasn't enough time to do and see everything we wanted to do, but I was wrong. There was definitely enough time for our full itinerary. We met our guide at 8:30am, and were back at the ship around 5pm. The Shin Kobe train station was only a 10 minute ride from the cruise port. We got to see the Golden Temple, Fushimi Inari (Tori gates). We also had time for shopping and lunch. Our guide Kazuko was especially patient with my elderly mother who had some mobility needs. Thank you Kazuko for being a gracious host for us in Kyoto!

5.00Absolute BEST day in Kyoto with our guide Kazuko. She promptly met us in the morning at arranged time and smoothly executed the day navigating my family from Kobe to Kyoto. She had great recommendations for sites to see and places to eat. She was patient and kind with our children and helped us makes wishes come true by letting us add in a stop at the Pokemon Center. Highly recommend this tour and this agency as a whole!

5.00We spent a wonderful day with our guide, Haru, exploring the sights we had selected from a provided list—and even added a visit to a ninja dojo we were especially interested in. Before the tour, Haru shared a helpful map outlining our itinerary, which was a thoughtful touch. He was incredibly accommodating throughout the day. For lunch, I had found a gluten-free ramen restaurant in advance, and Haru made sure we were able to go there. Having a pre-booked taxi for the 9-hour tour was essential—it allowed us to make the most of our time and see a wide variety of sights that would have been difficult to cover otherwise.

5.00Our personal guide allowed us to see all the highlights of Tyoto that we would not have realized otherwise. A bonus was experiencing Japan's impressive public transportation. We made numerous connections via tram, train, subway, and bus going from place to place and never waited more than 5 mins. Impressive!
