What to Expect During Your River Tubing Adventure: Your experience begins with a short 10-minute drive from La Fortuna to the Arenal River, where our friendly and professional guides will greet you. After a safety briefing and equipment check, you’ll receive your individual river tube and safety gear, including a helmet and life jacket. Once you're ready, you'll set off on a thrilling 1.5-hour ride down a scenic section of the Arenal River. Along the way, you’ll float through gentle rapids and calm pools, surrounded by lush rainforest. It's common to spot monkeys, tropical birds, and other wildlife, making this not just an adventure but a nature experience as well. Minimun two people to reserve.

5.00Gerald and JohnCarlos are amazing river tour guides. My wife and I had an awesome one of a kind experience. They guided us through the rapids and pointed out the different bird species along the route. And they recommended a great local lunch area.

5.00The tour was amazing!!! Gerald, Carlos and the rest of the crew were professional and super nice. I definitely recommend the this tour. I was a bit scared but they made it super fun and relaxing.

5.00This was an amazing first introduction to La Fortuna! A group of 5 of us were welcomed and well taken care of by the Arenal Rafting Team. Our guides took us to the beginning of the river and met us with fruits at the end. During the tubing experience we encountered a great sense of adventure as we encountered mild waves that quickly met with lazy river type sections. We heard various wildlife and were well taken care of through out the entire excursion, thank you to Gerardo & Jean Carlos! PURA VIDA

5.00It was a super great tubing tour with Juan Carlos and Gerald. On the way to the river we saw howler monkeys and also stopped briefly to observe them. In addition to the tubing, we also made a short stop for swimming. The two guides made sure we were doing well all the time and guided us perfectly through the river. By the way, they told us a lot of interesting facts about the animals and about Costa Rica. All in all a wonderful experience and we are glad to have booked our first time ever tubing here. Not a mass event but an individual experience:) At the end there was fruit before we went back to the meeting point.
Absolutely recommend!!!

5.00We did the River Tubing with Gerald and Juan Carlos and are absolutely thrilled. It was the first activity of its kind for us and the two of them made us feel safe at all times with their professional work. In addition, we received interesting information about the region, as well as photos and videos, at the end a dry towel and fruits to complete the experience. Special care is taken not to have too large groups, so the guides always keep an eye on you. The tubing was great fun and I am glad that we chose this provider and could not have imagined it better!!

5.00Amazing experience with La Fortuna River Tubing! My wife and I had a lot of fun on the river - there were a lot of rapids to give excitement and the views were amazing. The guides were very attentive and allowed for swimming moments to enjoy the views and the water. The lead guide, Gerald even took a moment to show us the wildlife and even a sloth and howler monkeys!
