5.00This walk is a must do for anyone visiting the Lakes District. Our guide Jamie is very knowledgeable about the area and makes the experience so worthwhile. The scenery is stunning and there are plenty of opportunities for photos. If we are ever in the Lakes District again, the first thing we will do is book a walking tour with Jamie. He also brought along his dog Blisco on the walk which added an extra highlight. Jamie provided details of the walk including a set of FAQs well in advance which was very helpful. Thanks Jamie. 5.00Magical day out walking in the Langdale region of the Lakes District - our favourite day of the trip. Jamie was an excellent guide who was friendly and knowledgeable. The walk took about 4.5 hours, going at a relaxed pace and with plenty of time to stop, explore and appreciate the stunning views. Our small tour group spanned all ages from 20s to 70s and it suited everyone. Highly recommend this walking tour for a day out in the Lakes District!

5.00Jamie was a brilliant guide, and the route itself was really enjoyable. He kept us all entertained with his knowledge and stories of the countryside and the local area, and we'll definitely be booking another walk with him again when we come back to the lakes!

5.00Thank you so much Jamie!!! Jamie is a brilliant guide; he was knowledgeable, warm and friendly. I can talk for the whole of England, given the chance, and he matched my energy from start to finish. Never in a million years would I have ventured out on a walk so far into and up the langdale Valley and surrounding areas. This walking tour was an absolute God-send. I loved every minute and Jamie was fantastically intuitive; speeding up a little when I was energised and slowing right down when I needed to or stop completely when I was mesmerised by the views to allow me to soak it all in. Great chat but also total silence at the right points on the hike. I am a frequent traveller to the lakes and have taken literally all the tours going, but actually going by foot into this netherworldly paradise is simply indescribable .... it's the stuff of magic. I am hopeful that Jamie will put together other walks and tours because I for 1 would join him in a heart beat. Totally beyond value for money, it was priceless!!!
