  Great hour spent visiting. My daughters 10 and I felt she was too old for most of it. We did enjoy it though and went on several rides that were great fun!

  The kids liked it staff was very friendly i paid for extras The vr the boys loved it how ever the creative i have no idea what I paid for, I couldn't find the signs the staff told me about and the boys had the same problem even when asking the staff. Over £6 for a bottle of water and coke was well over priced and to top it of i had cash there policy is card only am extremely annoyed at this if I choose to pay with cash and no card then that should be my choice not there's. Luckily I had my phone that only had a small amount of money on to use contactless. And then the boys had birthday and Christmas money and I had the same problem in the shop, so I had to limit them on spending. Sadly I will not return again and its disappointing because they wanted to go again. Sorry for any spelling issues am dyslexic. Hope you fix this issue as I wasn't the only person there having this problem.

• Lego enthusiasts ideal night!

  I had an excellent experience at the Lego adult night with my friends, the location is easy to get to, the staff were out of this world. Nothing was too difficult for an ask for the staff and we had fun for hours in the models and playing the games.

  Worth a visit if you have young kids. Would allow 2 hours or so not a whole day . Could do with a refresh especially the toilets. Refreshments and shop are fairly expensive. Bit disappointing that the VR headset ride is charged extra. We paid but wouldn’t do it again. Staff were very helpful

  Not bad. 3 hours is overstimulating. U definitely dont need three hours. Quite annoying they dont take cash in the toy shop that is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced I might add. The staff are all on the spectrum and find it hard to make conversation or smile. Wouldnt go again unless it was free. Once youve done the VR and the ride / play centre all there is to do is play with lego which for a four year old is quite boring after 10 minutes. Some may like it my youngest didnt love it in the last 45 minutes. Overall enjoyed it but could be more to do without paying through the tooth for it.

  Visited over the weekend, had a lovely experience. We paid extra for the VR & creative workshop, totally worth it although I can see why it can be an issue for some parents as the range of abilities in the children is varying and some steps can take longer than others so there is some sitting around waiting. Staff are all amazing & clearly work very hard. I noticed them making the effort to clean all the areas throughout the day. In particular, Tyler and Sofia (if I can remember correctly), led the creative workshop and both were very engaging and helpful. My kids enjoyed this the most and for only £5 extra, a Lego build to take home is a bargain! A true credit to Legoland! My son loved the 4D cinema, we went three times and the soft play areas were all great too although i will say they could be easier to access for parents - I almost panicked thinking my kids were lost for a bit. It can also get very packed and unfortunately the time slot they give you seems quite short considering the amount of activities. All in all, I would highly recommend making the visit down. Despite the areas that can be improved upon, you won’t regret spending your money here.

  Legoland Discovery continues to be excellent. The staff are exceptional and the range of activities is great. A few pointers, though. Maybe now is the time to freshen things up a bit - perhaps swap out some of the activities for something new. The large race track area could certainly be repurposed (they’re not even LEGO cars) and some of the Ninja activities are falling flat. A proper Duplo village would be nice and you could look at leaning on some more of your popular franchise tie-ups. The overall cleanliness could be addressed too: some of those large bricks in the under-5s area are very grubby and, once again, only one soap dispenser in the male toilets was filled! And yet it’s still fun. My near-three-year-old daughter loved it and that’s what really matters.

  We visited on Jan 4th for the last day of the Christmas event but to be fair other than some decorations it wasn’t any different. It’s a few years since we’ve been and the decline is clear to see - first off there just so many paid for add ons like the VR experience (£20 for 4), photos, a huge cafe where the cute little Duplo area used to be, loads of those coin squish machines etc. The factory bit at the start is boring and pointless. It used to be a guided tour with a little discovery centre brick given out but now it’s just broken and empty. The Lego displays are filthy, the hand sanitiser dispensers are empty. The build a car bit had no tyres so you couldn’t do much. The old racing ride is now little tykes cars! The only ride we could do as a family was some rubbish pedalo thing which made an awful rusty squeaking sound and lasted about two minutes. The 4D cinema was underwhelming as other than a very light spray of water, nothing else happened, it seemed broken also. Then on to the space bit which was … a broken rocket launch. Then you walk through a non Lego disco tunnel (why) and then you’re in the shop to spend more on Lego than on Amazon. We managed an hour, luckily we didn’t buy individual tickets as were Merlin pass holders but even then we felt it wasn’t worth the visit as it’s just too limited, broken and filthy. We definitely won’t be coming back.

  It’s a great concept but it’s looking a little tired. There is a build your own car area there are very few tyres for the wheels The cafe is very poor. There are parts that are broke

  Visited midweek with my 8 year old and 2 year old. We enjoyed it but got a Black Friday deal. I I do not think this experience is worth paying full price. It is small and only needs around 2 hours to visit, the prices don’t reflect this! It looks tired and dirty in places and the ninjaro soft play area is too dark and cramped for the children to play properly. The police chase bit is just little tykes cars. We went midweek but was busy with school trips. We qued for 45 mins for the first ride which was only a couple of mins long and the shooter guns were not working properly. Staff members were rude. Variety of Lego pieces at stations were also poor. I think the experience needs a bit of TLC and updated prices. I also can’t see the justification for additional pricing for the VR experience, VR is no longer a new thing this should be included now.
