Start your visit to SEA LIFE Manchester by stepping into our interactive Turtle Beach experience. This unique 3D projection experience navigates you through the life of a sea turtle as you follow these incredible creatures through their life cycle from the egg to the sea! Take an adventure, deep into the world's underwater cave systems and find some of the oddest and scary looking creatures. Come face-to-face with our spiny lionfish or see the poisonous and deadly porcupine fish, better known as the pufferfish. Be enchanted by beautiful moon Jellyfish in our interactive color-changing tank. Simply choose a color and see these unique creatures from a new perspective as they float gracefully and mysteriously around the tank. Did you know that Jellyfish don't have brains, stomachs, blood, heart or eyes? Your first introduction to the fascinating story of sharks, but before you meet them you will be transported to a world of deep sea creatures that would be hidden away in a shipwreck. Try and spot our juvenile common octopus, Octopus Prime, who loves hiding in the nooks and crannies of her tank. Step under the viewing tank and see our blacktip reef sharks swim overhead! Take a stroll under the sea as you pass through our amazing glass tunnel. Shoals of glittering fish flutter along beside you whilst our enormous green sea turtle Ernie glides slowly over your head. Look out for our napoleon wrasse Bonaparte gliding by with his vibrant blue eyes and graceful fins. Watch sharks and rays gliding effortlessly through our tropical ocean tank, surrounded by hundreds of colorful ocean fish. Ernie the green sea turtle loves to come and say hello to you here and you can even see our own divers and our SeaTREK guests from here as they explore the underwater world. Step inside Stingray Bay and be mesmerized by our happy and smiley rays. Let their upbeat nature take your cares away in this relaxing and magical space. You can follow the Rays around the tank and appreciate how swiftly they move as well as seeing our blue spotted ray and Cal, our friendly rescued baby leopard shark. Have you ever wanted to stroke a starfish, tickle a sea anemone or feel the shell of a crab? Now’s your chance, because at our rocking Rockpools you can appreciate all of this! Our experts will be on hand through this unique opportunity to learn more about these fascinating micro-habitats and the incredible creatures that thrive in them. Finally, welcome to Conservation Cove, where you can find out about our Conservation efforts and our partnership with the SEA LIFE Trust. Let your little ones take part in our interactive turtle game where they can help save the baby turtles get to the sea! There's also our sandbox with mysterious dangers that you may find at the beach. Dig them out of the sand and find out!

Expensive for an hours experience, at least 50% of fish in poor condition

2.00We came to the sea life centre on 28th December with our 5 month old. The whole experience lasted around 1 hour - which makes the tickets expensive for what you get. Lots of different fish to see and educational information next to them which was interesting to read but, the majority of fish had ‘ich’ and need treating. The starfish were stressed - there’s an area where children can hold them. Gift shop at the end is ridiculously priced. Overall, felt more money orientated than conservation and proper care of the fish.

5.00This ticket was purchased for my autistic granddaughter aged 7 years and her parents. The whole experience was amazing. The staff made every effort to ensure my granddaughter was not overwhelmed by the crowds and the noise. I am very grateful for their understanding and patience.

5.00me and my boyfriend went to here today for the stingray feeding experience as a gift from his mum to me! honestly, it was an amazing experience! i had so much fun seeing all the different rays they have there and Rosie was amazing too! she was really great and answered all questions with great knowledge! i am a very big fan of stingrays so any experience with them wins me over but today was a different way of interacting with rays which i have not done before. we were there for around about 3 hours today and i had a blast the entire time! i would highly recommend taking a visit to the SeaLife centre in Manchester and i would also like to say thank you to Rosie for providing a great experience today!
Snorkeling with sharks

5.00We did the snorkeling with sharks experience accompanied by the amazing Rosie. She helped us stay informed about the activity, took amazing pictures for us, and answered any questions we had about the fish that lived in the enclosure. It was overall an amazing experience as you got to be face to face with many amazing sea life. It was an experience to remember which was further enhanced by Rosie being an incredible team member.

Disappointing snowman experience

1.00We were really enjoying our visit on friday 12th with my two children, who really enjoyed the turtle beach show. its a lovely centre and the staff are helpful, but we were waiting in the play area for the snowman meet and greet at 3.40 by the big window when a female staff member came into the play area, the snowman wouldn't leave her alone, touched her face and hair and then chased her to the coffee hut. Because they had left, we decided to leave earlier than we expected to, as it felt very inappropriate and uncomfortable. My kids were disappointed leaving the centre as they didnt meet the snowman and I wanted to leave asap.

5.00Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable; the opening talk about the sea turtles was very well done and the rest of our visit did not disappoint. My 23 month old grandson was mesmerised at every tank. A truly wonderful couple of hours in a lovely environment.

5.00I absolutely adored walking around here and looking at all the fish! It took me near 2 hours but I am autistic with an interest in fish so it may take less than that for others. I got to pet a chocolate chip starfish and the woman in charge of them seen me looking at fire shrimp in the rest tank and let me put my hand in the tank to a hidden fire shrimp who came out and cleaned my nails for me! Absolutely fantastic experience.

5.00I came today with my little boy and he absolutely loved it ! I didn’t realise you could only have some photos taken as you first go in and didn’t do it straight away and realised after leaving. We went for some food and I thought I’d try my luck and went back in a few hours later to ask if I can have some photos taken and the staff kindly let us back through. They were all lovely and very knowledgeable, we had a great time

5.00Went as a date for myself and partner and we had the best of time. We were in there for about an hour and a half and got an amazing opportunity, thanks to Jordan! He was amazing for giving us the opportunity to feed a Turtle,and so much information about them that we never knew, he answered our questions and was super friendly! Made our day/ date. Would definitely go for the experience again absolutely surreal, so BIG thanks to Jordan!
