Arrive at iFLY Manchester and safely float in an 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air commonly used by professional skydivers without having to jump from a plane. Just about anyone can fly and no experience is necessary.
Once inside the flight chamber, a tunnel operator slowly increases the wind speed until you and your instructor are airborne. Feel the adrenaline rush as you float at wind speeds reaching 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph). The stable wall-to-wall airflow keeps you from falling off the column of air and your instructor is on hand at all times to guide you.
The entire indoor skydiving experience takes about 90 minutes from start to finish. Each session includes up to 13 people, but you fly one-on-one with your instructor twice - the same freefall time as three tandem skydives!
To ensure our team are able to fly you, it's vital you arrive at the venue no less than 45minutes before your booked flight time.

Feel the thrill of skydiving without jumping out of an airplane. It's true! Head to iFLY Manchester, a premier indoor skydiving facility powered by a state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel, where you'll experience free-fall conditions with the help of an instructor. You may fly if you: - Weigh less than 18 stone and 7 pounds / 117kg (contact iFLY directly if you weigh more than this) - Are not pregnant - Have not previously dislocated your shoulder - Are not under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs - Are not wearing a hard cast. It is vital that you arrive for check-in at least 45mins prior to your booked flight time. So, if you're booked flight time is 3pm, you should arrive no later than 2.15pm. This is so that we can get you geared up, ready for your flight time. iFLY operates a manifest in the same way you would expect an airline to work; it is therefore advised you arrive early, leaving plenty of time for any unexpected delays. Experience is suitable for ages 3 and above

5.00We had the most amazing time! When we arrived our daughter was absolutely terrified. Morgan our instructor was fantastic with her and managed to settle her and got our daughter to fly not once but twice! What an amazing experience we all had and honestly can’t thank Morgan and the rest of the team for making it so good! All of us throughly enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait to come again.

5.00Great fun, went with my two daughters, I had four flights and two high flys up to 20-30 feet. Richard was an excellent instructor.

5.00We had an amazing experience at iFLY thanks to Richard! He was so attentive and really went above and beyond to make my son’s birthday extra special. Richard made sure everything felt fun, safe, and exciting — he truly made the whole day unforgettable. I would definitely recommend iFLY for the experience, especially if you get Richard as your instructor.

5.00Great Experience! Great Instructors! Price was definitely worth it. We were lucky enough to have Tedd as our instructor, he made everything easily understandable so we got the most out of the session. It was an odd session not to fall.

5.00I went to IFLY with my boyfriend, brother and baby sister. We had such an amazing time! our instructor Richard was fantastic! We were looked after so well and thoroughly entertained. My baby sister was so scared to do it but after quick chat with Richard she didn't only love it but asked to go up to the top on her second flight. Overall the experience was so good especially for the price. We will definitely be going back!

5.00I came today with my partner and 2 sons, we had 10 flights between us and Dan was our trainer. The whole experience was a solid 11/10. The lady on the desk that welcomed us was lovely she explained where all facilities from toilets where, to where we go for the flight, we then met Dan and he introduced himself, went through safety just to double check we had watched the videos, then got down to the fun! He was super acomodating and was definitely fun natured which made the experience even better! My children loved watching him do his tricks! My littlest boy took a real shine to him! My oldest boy had one go but decided it’s not for him, Dan asked everytime it come to his turn if he would like to try again and was great at calming him down and being understanding towards him, my oldest decided one time was enough and younger brother was super happy to take his turn and spend more time in the tunnel which Dan had no problem with. Myself and my partner also had a few goes between us and we loved the experience too. We went from sat on the sofa thinking ‘oh heck what have we signed ourselves upto’ to ‘I’m so glad we did that with the children’ My only regret- I wish I booked the high flight for my youngest!! There was no pressure to do it, we were asked but never once felt pressured, unfortunately it was cashless and I’d taken the cash out the bank to fund the day thinking it would be cash preferred which was very much a my fault rather than IFlys, we still had the most amazing time without doing that and Will be hugely noted for next time as we will be back and my younger son will do the high flight (hopefully with dan as he says) I’m still stunned that my youngest was brave enough to want to do it! I felt like personally we got a lot of usage from the time we had, but we did have 10 flights and it was 100% worth every penny. They’ve also sent me the link with preview of our videos and pictures, all reasonably priced and I’m so glad they do this because I wanted so badly to enjoy this experience with them but would also love something to keep and remember the experience by. Thankyou Dan and Ifly for allowing me to take part in having fun with my children and not being the photographer! I can’t wait to get the official videos! And thankyou for taking a picture of us as a family! And we will be back soon!
