The tour could give specific information earlier that we could enjoy our day more. But unfortunately they sent a location through e-mail but when clicked the link there was written that it’s untrusted site, I tried to continue to see further ‘which is a risk but anyway’ then it was a restaurant’s address so I tried to call that restaurant and ask about meeting place but they said it’s just restaurant nothing with safari. We went to the national park’s entrance at 01.15 pm so had to wait under sun until 2.40pm. At the end the vehicle came and picked us. we started around 2.50 and finished 5.40 pm which is about 3 hours but I’ve paid for “4hours”. The yala national park is amazing place but I don’t think that I will recommend this tour company and I guess won’t book any further event through Viator.

I accidentally booked for the spring day but they were very accomodating in letting us change. The driver arrived early and we were the first ones. He was early getting us to the safari gate as well. He had a Toyota hilux which could navigate the worm roads inside the safari easily. He did an amazing job at getting us a prime view of the baby elephants, and a sighting of a leopard. A great trip and would highly recommend!

Terrible, the only contact we received from the tour provider was that we waited for him at 5:20 in the morning at the hotel, not only did he not show up at the agreed time, but he was 30 minutes late, by then we had already arranged with the hotel for another tour. We are also denied a refund even though the service was not performed. Not recommended. This tour is also double the cost of tours you can get locally for the same service. Save your money and arrange through your hotel!
Safari was alright. Be aware of costs and missing information.

The activity description doesn't mention that need to pay 13000 rupees per person. Neither does it say that SAARC countries get a discount. We were asked to show the passports to prove it. We had photos, but guide didn't accept those. Who goes to a safari with passports? It is absurd. We were told about the entrance fee the night before, after the banks already closed. Luckily we had some money. Safari was alright. We got to see elephants, birds and monkeys. Leopards were too far away but got a glimpse. Just be aware of how much it was cost in total.

Had a very nice tour with Mudhu. He picked us up from our hotel and was great at spotting animals along the tour route in Yala National Park. We saw a bunch of animals up close -- elephants, peacocks, water buffalo, iguanas, toucans -- as well as some leopards in the distance. Would recommend to other travelers.
