  Our driver and guide Rifai was punctual and very friendly and accommodating throughout our tour. We were able to customise our tour to suit our preferences. Communication was easy in English and our visit was a pleasant experience.

  Good hotel was clean but not so much activity . Nightlife at Novotel Lombok boring . The hotel does not create or have any events to attract tourists or visitors. Pub / bar closed at 10:30 pm. Driver pick up and drop off efficient . Tour driver good service.

  We had a wonderful day with Lalu. He was informative, kind, easy to talk to, and gave great suggestions. We bought some local fruit on the way, saw the beautiful countryside with the rice fields and hiked to the four central waterfalls (Benang Stokel & Benang Kelambu), it was pouring rain but it just made the hike and waterfalls even more incredible. We went to the Sukarara Village and met the local sarong weavers. The women are so talented, friendly and hilarious and we bought many traditional authentic sarongs. We went to lunch at a local Indonesian restaurant and ate delicious food that Lalu helped us order. And we went to the Islamic Center Mosque on the way back to our hotel, which was majestic and our guide was informative and welcoming. Can not recommend Lalu enough as a driver, guide and new Lombok friend.

  A great day trip covering a good range of Lombok highlights: traditional village, waterfalls, beautiful beaches. Eka was a friendly and informative guide, enjoyable to spend the day with.

  January was a very lovely guide: he was kind and knowledgable, spoke great english, and drove us all day with so much care and attention. We saw some wonderful cultural areas including a tapestry weaving village, temples, and rice paddies. He was perfect!

  We spent our one day in Lombok with Asier as our outstanding guide.  It was one of the more memorable days of our entire 40 days of travel in Australasia.  We came away having had great exposure to the daily lives of regular citizens, merchants, farmers, and worshipers, almost entirely without any other tourists in sight.  Watching and/or participating in weaving, rice thatching, and daily worship were all special moments.  Asier’s English, kindness, patience, knowledge of the island and it cultures, and choice of itinerary were all exceptional.  A particularly memorable experience was Asier buying fruits for us at a local market, after which we headed to his home to enjoy the food and meet his wonderful family.  Get to experience the real Lombok with Asier!

  Pak Rudi is a great driver and guide for our private full day trip of North Lombok. He was there early at the hotel before the trip. He is a very knowledgeable guide & understood our interests & preferences quickly. We visited amazing sites, including Bukit Selong for a breathtaking view of the majestic Mount Rinjani, the enchanting Sendang Gile & Tiu Kelep waterfalls, and a rice plantation where Pak Rudi showed us the different types of rice plants. The restaurant where Pak Rudi brought us for lunch was also excellent.

  We had a great day seeing sights and Julian was great. He was incredibly helpful and kind in helping us resolve an issue where our bank card was stuck in an ATM. He went out of his way to help, even into the evening. We were lucky to have him. We would not hesitate to book again next time we are in Lombok!

• Fun, flexible day in Lombok

  We loved our day out with our guide Augus. He helped us decide where we should go and what to see. We ended up seeing two temples, two waterfalls, topped off by an oasis of a white sand beach. Highly recommend this tour for a fun, flexible day out.
