  Francesco was friendly, knowledgeable and punctual! We visited Matera with our kids and this was another great way to explore the city and get in some great views.

  Super fun way to see Matera and get some history. We had done a walking tour earlier in day and I was afraid it was going to be same thing. It was not. It built on the other tour. This tour stopped at a recreated cave house and the miniature museum as well as great viewpoints and church of St. Peter. It rained on our evening tour but it was still fun.

  Fantastic experience, tour organized to perfection, the guide Agostino explained many interesting things about the history of Matera, super available for photos! Tour absolutely recommended and to do if you come to Matera.

  I planned our vacation to Matera before I knew about my knee surgery. Needless to say, Matera has very challenging terrain with countless steps and slippery hills. I opted for the longer Apetour (tuk-tuk). Francesco was amazing. He took us to the city’s highlights and gave us the opportunity to visit this wonderful city that I would not have been able to enjoy. He was both a pleasure to be with and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to any person visiting Matera!

  Francesco our driver was fantastic. Very personable and informative. He took us all around Matera on a fabulous tour. It’s was brilliant. Gave us a much better understanding of the history of the area and the challenges the people faced, plus the darker recent side of the town after it was abandoned, and prior to it becoming a UNESCO site.

  Amazing tour would highly recommend! An easy and fun way to travel round the sassi. Antonio our driver was a local so was very knowledgable, very kind and his English was great. Learnt a lot about the history of Matera, how people lived there and how it has progressed over time.

  Beautiful historical sites, the Sassi Barisano and Caveoso, the Murgia Valley. Beautiful views, breathtaking panoramas, and many pictures. Tour redone in the evening, magnificent illuminated panoramas. The driver Antonio G. very friendly, kind and attentive.
