(Tuesday to Sunday - Breakfast version) - After the hotel pick up ( around 5:30 AM) we drive you to Pico do Arieiro where we will enjoy the Sunrise around 7 AM. This is the island's highest viewpoint at 1818 metres of altitude. See the sunrise at the top of Pico do Arieiro and afterwards enjoy your breakfast.
You can choose a few varieties of coffee, as we have sugar and milk on the side, and we have 3 varieties of tea. You can enjoy all of this as it is included in our price (Tuesday to Sunday- Breakfast version)
We have toasted sandwiches(ham and cheese) , homemade cake all done by our catering team, you will not go hungry :)
After all of this we go back to the area of Camacha and go for a lovely levada walk(available Tuesday to Saturday- Breakfast version) in the Paradise Valley area, it should take you about 40 minutes to complete.
If the weather/visibility conditions are not good enough to see the sunrise in Pico do Arieiro we change the sunrise spot to another area.

It's the third highest peak of the island, but the highest point available by car are 1818 metres of altitude. This where you will see the sunrise and have breakfast with us
(Breakfast option only) Enjoy a buffet-style breakfast of sandwiches, homemade cake, biscuits, water, orange juice, fruit jam, cheese, and ham at a very special location : a rustic old mill that was refurbished in order to accomodate people and a perfect spot to enjoy your breakfast in privacy and sheltered from the cold.

3.00Tour guide was good , but we couldn’t see the sunrise,its was rainy day , sunrise will be at 7:23 am but we left the place at 7:30 am . So around 7:45/8 am sunrise so we missed it . We had breakfast in woods , levada walk is great.

4.00I booked this last minute because the conditions when I did a sunrise hike to Pico Ruivo a few days ago were so overcast. The driver wasn't super chatty but was punctual and reliable, and we arrived in good time-allowing everyone in the group to find a spot. After the sunrise, we had 30-40 minutes to soak it in and take photos before heading back. The sunrise is super memorable and the views are stunning!

5.00Take warm clothes and gloves if you have them. It’s a long wait for sunrise… Francisco the driver was friendly, informative and provided a good breakfast. The walk in the woods is lovely.

5.00We were picked up at the hotel as agreed and were at Pico de Ariero about 1 hour before sunrise - so there was still enough time to find a spot on the (totally crowded) mountain... We were incredibly lucky with the weather and the sunrise was spectacular. Afterwards we went by van to the breakfast location - quaint and authentic with le ker sandwich and cake. Then to the Levada da Serra do Faial - a nice walk of a 3/4 hour - pure nature. It was nice

5.00Very beautiful!! The Van for right at the entrance of the peak, privileged view of the sunrise! Then the levada is beautiful too! Out of the sympathy of the team. It's worth it!

5.00My husband and I loved it If you love sunrise experiences you will absolutely love this because eventhough you are there for a while , (the driver takes you a little earlier so you’ll be an hour before sunrise ) magic is happening meanwhile . DO bring something to protect you !!! Doesn’t matter where you come from , wear something ! It gets chilly , breezy and drizzly . We did a time lapse video with my husband and it came out awesome ( except for the part a women photobombed our video , even though it was pretty obvious we were recording it ) anyways people will be people . So if you do something similar put your cameras / phone in an area where there are almost no chances of people walking infront of it . We chose to be in the hill during the whole experience (you’ll notice it once you get to the end , you just have to climb a little bit ) it’s a great spot , there no people walking up and down or back and forth (except for that only lady but I don’t think she. Will be back , so you are all good ) 😂 Enjoy ! It’s great ! And also 5stars to our awesome driver “FELIPE” who was very knowledgeable and nice to keep up entertain during the drive .
