La Latina is Madrid's oldest neighborhood. You can still see bits and pieces of the wall that protected it in the 12th century. This is a tour of the best bars, foods and wines in La Latina.

Bar 1: Tour begins sipping on my favorite vermouth on tap. We will pair it with Chupadedos olives. These olives are of the verdial variety and are seasoned with pepper, garlic, oregano and olive oil, which results in a very pleasant and delicious flavor.

5.00Andres took us on an incredible Wine and Tapas tour, highlighting the hidden gems of La Latina! Each space unique with its own vibe, specialty tapas and of course interesting wines to partake in. He is an expert in wine and brought some fabulous wines to the final stop from his own collection. We learned very interesting things about the Spanish eating culture and it really rounded out experience in Madrid! Great small group of people too. Highly recommend, thanks Andres for a fabulous night, don't miss this one. The Mitchell's

5.00A great food tour!! Andres took us to so many wonderful places to eat and drink. We had a really good group of people on the tour with us. The food was delicious and I never had vermouth on tap - wow!! Andres is a wonderful guide.

5.00Andres is a national treasure for Madrid. His restaurant, food and wine choices were exceptional. The small group made the tour more personal as we were able to learn a bit about each other during the time together. The tour lasted longer than expected, but the time flew by. We ate well and tasted foods that were amazing.

I have done this tour twice (in different decades) and enjoyed it both times as Andres has the ability to modify the tour to suit the group. I recommend it for inquisitive adults who love learning about history, local cuisine, and who enjoy wines and vermouth.
