The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Malaga. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing spanish culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Spanish; other languages upon request.

5.00It was an absolutely amazing experience to sample food in 4 locations in Malaga. Our tour guide on 14/10/2025, Jose, had an incredible depth of knowledge, offering clear information and catering well for food intolerances. We tried 15 types of tapas with 3 drinks, all of which were exquisite. We were lucky to be paired with a lovely group of Northern ladies, who made it fun. An exceptional tour and highlight of our trip.

5.00A great tapas tour with Jose Luis around the central district in Malaga. We visited some great eateries including g El Pimpi which was on our must eat there itinerary. Make sure you are hungry as this tour offers a huge amount of food! We had a really lovely group. Only 7 of us in total which allowed us to share a wide variety of dishes and tase some local wines. We do a food tour in most cities when we visit and this is one of the best we have been on.

They shared fascinating stories about the city’s history while leading us to some truly delicious local spots that we never would have found on our own. What really stood out was how accommodating the guide was to everyone in the group—adjusting the pace, answering questions, and making sure all dietary needs were taken care of. The mix of food tastings, local wine, and cultural insight made this tour the highlight of our trip to Málaga. Highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to taste, learn, and explore Málaga like a local!
