Calling all curd nerds and turophiles – yep there’s a word for your love of cheese – Manchester’s finest cheeses are being wrapped up into one 2 hour walking tour!
You have not truly explored Manchester until you tour as a turophile. Get involved in Manchester’s first and grate-est cheese crawl!
The crawl is 2 hours of non stop in-curd-edible action. There will be a cheese whizz quiz and of course a bit of wine.
The crawl will be packed full of the finest of Manchester’s brie-liant cheeses, with very mature fun facts, and the chance to heckle your quizmaster with your favourite cheese puns that will have your group crumbling faster than a wensleydale.
Meanwhile you’ll feta believe you’ll learn a bit about cheese making, and be introduced to some cheese mongers and shops you just camembert to stay away from.
It’s a whole different kind of ‘cultured’.

5.00We really enjoyed the cheese crawl, it was a great way to celebrate a birthday. Mark, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and kept the afternoon interesting as well as fun (competitive questions for the teams we had formed). We tried delicious cheese and wine from various locations - we would definitely recommend this!

5.00A walking tour through Manchester with an experience tour host, you get to sample cheese, cheese, cheese & wine more cheese & wine and then cheese. It's great. Bring comfortable walking shoes. There is not always seating available at all stops.

5.00Not to be missed! I recommend going with an empty stomach as there is plenty of delicious food on offer! Mel (Babymel) is great. She made the experience really fun and enjoyable. We had a lovely group and we all had a great laugh. My daughter lives in Manchester and has already been back to a couple of the places we visited as she didn’t even realise they existed. I would definitely recommend going on the cheese crawl and I will do it again given the chance.

5.00A walk around some foodie outlets in a smallish area of Manchester with a fun, sociable element. The excellent guide, Matt, points out some interesting places along the way, and there are quiz questions to answer, which really breaks the ice. And , of course, the cheese! We had several tasting sessions, including some biscuits and condiments, plus in 2 venues, a matching wine! I would say this amounts to a light lunch in the end!
