On this tour, you will visit pristine beaches, with coral reefs, bordered by exuberant vegetation and the natural wonders of the tropical rainforest.
On the way to Manuel Antonio National Park, you will travel along the coastline enjoying scenic views, including African palm plantations. You will also travel past small villages along the Pacific Coast, until you reach the port of Quepos and the ultimately the National Park.
Since access to the park itself is closed to vehicles, you will hike to the preserve, crossing a creek. Once in the park, you can simply relax and enjoy the beach, sunbathe, or hike through the park’s trails, which will allow you to observe Manuel Antonio’s abundant flora and fauna. Several species of monkeys, iguanas, birds and possibly even the three-toed sloth can be seen. If you chose to hike the trail to Cathedral Point, do not forget your camera; the views of the park and the sea are simply spectacular!

Great day and guide. We covered a lot of ground, and care was given to show us as much wildlife as possible.

Since I only had a few days left in San José and couldn’t stay in the Manuel Antonio Park area, I decided to book this trip. Manuel Antonio Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen, so for that alone I’m very glad I went. We weren’t very lucky with wildlife sightings, but that wasn’t anyone’s fault—it was a hot day, and by that point in my trip I had already seen quite a lot. The lunch spot was very nice, and overall it was a great experience. I also really appreciated that this tour allows solo travelers to book, as many tours in Costa Rica require a minimum of two people. As a solo traveler, that made a big difference and added to my overall satisfaction.

I am so glad I did this. I booked this kind of last minute because I wanted to have a beach experience before I left Costa Rica. They were so accommodating. I had Donald as a tour guide and Jerry as a driver. They made multiple stops for us to be able to take pictures along the way. The place we had breakfast was really good and lunch was amazing as well. Once you get to the park, they take you on a guided tour to the beach and then you get to have free time to explore the two different beaches and an optional walking trail. I did not do the second trail but did spend time on both beaches. Overall I had fun and I'm glad they were able to squeeze me in

I had heard great things about Manuel Antonio and decided to book this tour and take advantage of my time. If you are short on time or want to explore another part of Costa Rica from the capital this is a good opportunity. They were very accommodating and allowed me to bring my suitcase on the van since I was changing hotels and they picked me up from one and dropped me off at the new one. However, the company was not good with communication. I contacted them through Viator and email to ask about the hotel pickup and got no response. Then 24 hours before they finally reached out to confirm pick up. They were early for the pickup which was great. I felt like there were too many stops on the way to the park. It’s normally a 3 hour drive but it took us 5 hours because of the bathroom stops and breakfast. We had a small group of 6 and if we did stop to use the bathroom we would usually just be waiting another 20 minutes for the trip to continue. Then when we got to the park we had a limited time to see everything. Our guide, Katia, seemed a bit rude at times as well. She would try to point out animals but she would say “do you see it?” And I had to ask “what am I looking for?” The breakfast wasn’t good in my opinion but lunch was great and at a really nice hotel. The tour ended up being 16 hours because there was a lot of traffic on the way back to San Jose so leave your evening open just in case. Overall it was a nice way to explore Manuel Antonio and was good that it included meals and transportation.

We went on this tour yesterday and felt like it would be better done with another tour company or on our own. First and most important, once booked, we just could not get hold of anyone to get our questions answered, or even to confirm. Initially, we were told they will pick us up at 6 am or later. After that, there was no communication and no response from them, despite our several messages and calls. The day before the tour, we got an automated message that our pick up time was 5:05 am. And once again, dead silence. We sent them numerous messages, called multiple times, even on their emergency number and through Viator, to ensure that it was not a typo, our pick up time was really pushed earlier. But no response!!! We got picked up at 5 am, returned 10:30 pm. The actual time spent in the park was 3.5 hours. It was absolutely not worth it. We spent a lot of time on the bus, not just driving to and from the park but also waiting while others got picked up and dropped off. We had to wait a lot of places. And then, their bus broke down on the way back. All in all, we would have spent much less time for the same amount of money and a better experience if we opted for a private tour. I recommend not taking this tour if you have a party of four or more, as we did. Just go for a private tour.

Catia and Ray were supreme hosts for this day trip! It was a wonderful day with delicious food and the perfect nature - beach combo. Catia was very engaging and knowledgeable and an all around delight! She had a knack for finding animals along the trail and could identify the sounds of the animals we were hearing. She was also very patient with the divergent interests of our group, allowing the beach lovers to spend more time there and the hikers to spend more time on the trails. Catia was also very good with the children who were on the tour making this a very family friendly trip. There was a very nice variety of meal options to choose from for breakfast and lunch that were quite delicious. All in all I would highly recommend this day trip!

Great trip, the park is very nice. Good breakfast and lunch. There's a lot of driving though: 3-5h per direction.

This tour was very fun and the people I met within the tour made my day so enjoyable, my only critic is I wasn't informed of my pick up time and neither they responded to my message.

Unkind guide, on the road he went over on the right, went very fast, rushed other tourists to enter the park, gave no indications to take or not take to the park beforehand if not until we were on our way and we had to buy several things like the boat for water, he mentioned that he told us that if he could pass to the park since then he is scolded because of us. The loose agency asked us to move our schedule, hopefully the other operator could if we had not lost a tour. Very nice park but not a pleasant experience
