BEFORE booking please notice that:
1- Park is closed every Tuesday, open from Wednesday until Monday from 7am until 4pm
2- SINAC park tickets are NOT included with the tour tickets, you must purchase your entry tickets separately BEFORE the tour meeting
3- Instructions how to purchase the SINAC park tickets will be sent after you confirm your tour, PLEASE be AWARE of your email notifications for further information regarding recommendations and more
4- Private parking is available next to our office $10 USD additional, unfortunately the MANP doesn't have facilities as parking lot
5- Prebooked tickets MIGHT be available in resale for last minute bookings, BEFORE confirming your booking PLEASE message us in order to confirm that we still have tickets available
6- If you're trying to book LAST MINUTE your tour, please make sure there are tickets available for the day you're planning to visit the park, if you don't know how to confirm availability CONTACT US before confirming booking, the park entry tickets are selling out even 8 days in advance
7- If you're arriving to the meeting place by public transportation please let us know in order to send the respective instructions

Manuel Antonio National Park
After we encounter at our meeting place, your local certified guide by the ICT (Costa Rica Tourism Board) will briefly introduce her/himself and will let you know about the rules during the activity. We will walk at least through 4 different trails inside the Park spotting a great variety of wildlife species, this place is well known as the home for monkeys, sloths, lizards, amphibians, snakes, birds and insects, besides, we will have the opportunity to take wonderful pictures through our HD spotting scopes for a great lifetime memories during your visit. If you book for a morning tour there will be extra time to enjoy the beach after the tour, the afternoon ocassionally won't give us enough time to enjoy the beach due the Park close at 3:00pm Afternoon tours are less crowded compared with the morning tours, if you want to enjoy the beach in the afternoon tour your guide will have a "plan B" for the best enjoyment of your experience!

5.00Our tour with Saul was exceptional. He arrived early, allowing us to enter the park before the rush and maintain a perfect pace ahead of the crowds. Saul has an incredible eye for wildlife; thanks to him, we saw macaws, sloths, monkeys, bats, and a variety of crabs and insects. His knowledge is deep, and he shared fascinating insights into both the animals and the local vegetation. Beyond the tour itself, Saul was kind enough to recommend specific trails for us to explore afterward. If you want a knowledgeable guide who knows how to navigate the park efficiently while spotting everything in sight, Saul is your guy!

5.00This experience was truly magical! We booked a private tour for two couples and our tour guide, Mop, was the best. We got to see so many varieties of creatures. The walk during the tour was not difficult and we could see many animals in just short walking distances. We would have missed every single one if Mop had not pointed them out. We ended at the beaches which are beautiful. The walk back after the tour was longer than we anticipated, but we were all a little hungry by then so it made it feel very long. Totally worth the money and time.

5.00Edwin was fantastic! He knows the park inside and out and was able to spot wildlife and did a great job with his scope and cell phone to get great photos of the various species we saw. He knows most of the other guides in the park and they work together to make certain you are safe and see interesting sights. He helped us get through the main gates quickly and efficiently. We went in the morning and while it was busy it was manageable. Edwin was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and shared his knowledge in an engaging way. I would definitely recommend this tour. We saw Bats, lizards, pitt vipers, sloths, humming birds in their nests, green tree frogs, etc.

5.00Around 9pm the night before, friend and I decided we wanted to get a guide, and Manuel Antonio Nature Tours came in clutch and had some last-minute availability! We made a booking for a 7am group tour for the next day and then messaged the WhatsApp business account, and they promptly responded with all the information. We arrived at the recommended parking lot around 6:45am and paid $10 usd for parking. Already the park was getting a bit busy! Met up with our guide Saul and the tour ended up just being my friend and I so we got started right at 7am. Saul was very knowledgeable and had a good eye for spotting things. He really took his time showing us everything and also took amazing pictures on my phone through the telescope which I really appreciated. The tour lasted about 2 hours. Afterwards, we relaxed on the beach and made our way back around noon - by then the park was super crowded so definitely recommend going early in the morning for a more peaceful time. We are very glad we made that last-minute decision to get a guide because there is no way we would have seen anything without one. Lot of these creatures are small/hidden so if we were on our own, we probably would have walked right past. We had a great experience with Manuel Antonio Nature Tours and learned a lot. Highly recommend!

5.00We did a private tour this January with Edwin after an awesome experience in his small-group tour in 2019. Again, I can’t imagine a better guide than Edwin. His passion for nature, including both flora and fauna, and for the environment and his beloved Cost Rica, is contagious. His knowledge is deep, but in addition to his tour being informative and educational, his sense of humor guarantees a FUN guided hike. Nonstop smiles on our faces. Thank you, Edwin! Suzanne and Mike

5.00Excellent tour guide (Saul?) with extensive knowledge and an eye for critters we would have never seen going alone. I did expect a ton more monkeys and birds along the way but you can’t predict nature. He had his scope so we could see the animals close up, he would take our phone to do phone scope photos! We saw one sloth, birds, crabs, lizard, huge grasshopper and several other critters too. This is a beautiful park and we loved seeing all the monkeys at the end along the tree line at the beach-look for moving branches! We enjoyed doing the self guided hike after the tour guide was finished.

5.00We had a really great time! We went with Mop and he made our tour amazing. We seen a lot of animals and Mop told us a lot of interesting stories. We recommend this tour for everyone if you want to see some amazing animals and live scenes.
Official Manuel Antonio guide - beware of the non-officials!

5.00I am sooo happy I booked with them for Manuel Antonio. I had read online that there were a lot of tourist scams going there, but it was much worse than I had thought. These are the official guides of Manuel Antonio, and when we booked they sent us messages detailing how to avoid scams and exactly where to go, where to park, to buy the tickets of the park beforehand, do NOT stop with the car unless you have arrived at your destination. Our guide, Mop, was the best out there. He pointed out a lot of animals to the other non-official guides to show to their clients, and I could tell they really respected him. We went at 10am and the park was really quite crowded along the paths to see the animals, but the beaches are very wide and there is plenty of space. We saw cappuccino and squirrel monkeys, vipers, basilisks, snakes, sloths, other insects. He takes the picture of the animals with his phone and then sends them over to you. I really, really recommend booking a tour before going there to avoid scams.

5.00This tour was well worth it. Indications were very very clear and easy to follow. You will park to the very last parking spot before the park. You'll be meters away from park entrance. Don't mind leaving your car keys ; it is safe. Tour was AMAZING ! Took a 2h dip in the warm sea after the tour. Saul Guzman, our guide was the best and explained very well. Has lots and lots of knowledge. Highly recommend !
