Join a friendly resident food-lover and certified guide who will take you through our favorite Middle Eastern restaurants and shops in the bustling district of Murraggabat in Deira. We walk from one restaurant to another, sampling Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian and Iraqi treats while sharing stories of Dubai and of food along the way.
Our food tour route covers a spectrum of flavours from across the Middle East – herb green falafels and creamy hummus from the Levant, delicious Syrian fare (both vegetarian and non vegetarian options!), cardamom-scented Arabic coffee from the Gulf and traditional Iraqi food that will either be a giant smoked fish with tangy mango pickle or juicy lamb kebabs (depends on group size). In addition, we experience the time-tested customs of Arabic coffee and sample fresh sweet cheese pastry right off the stove.
**The Syrian stop is omitted during summer months of May - September.

Meet our friendly food tour guide steps away from the Al Rigga Metro station in Deira (on the Diva Gents Salon side of the road). Our friendly guide will be wearing a "Keep Calm" t-shirt.
Corner Palestinian Falafel Cafeteria Design your own falafel sandwich using delicious ‘stuffed’ falafels and all the trimmings: hummus, fried eggplant and cauliflower, three kinds of sauces and pickles. Also sample a sweet cheese pastry made just for us, fresh off the fire. This decadent pie is topped with crunchy noodles and pistachios.

The food was delicious and Carmila’s interesting information about the food and how it is made enhanced the experience no end. 5.00What a great experience!!! I highly recommend this tour. Farida is an awesome tour guide. She was so knowledgeable about the food and about the city. All of the food choices were delicious and we got to spend the evening in a part of Dubai that we would not have otherwise seen. You do not want to miss this when in Dubai!

5.00Whenever I visit a new city a try to book a food tour. Of all the food tours I have done this has to be one of the best! My tour guide, Farida, brought the group to a wide variety of local restaurants in her own neighborhood. The tour was very organized, educational and of course the food was delicious. If you want to do something off the beaten path when visiting Dubai I highly recommend booking a tour with this company!

5.00A lot of great insights into how different types of food are prepared, with tasting of great food and with background history for these foods provided. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that likes tasting new things and eager to find out more about Middle East culture and food.
